Very well done, but I hate to see it end
niceacozy1 April 2017
I have been addicted to this series from the beginning & I'm SO disappointed to see it go. I understand why they ended on the 13th episode, but I wish it had continued until the end of the usual season for a series. I'm left to wonder if there's going to be a sequel involving the next gen (Diana, Kelly & the triplets) w/ the cast members from this series included. Who knows?? I most certainly hope so! In the final analysis, huge kudos to one & all for a wonderful show that should have continued for many years, in my humble opinion.

GRIMM - Spin-off show in the works
darricklin30 October 2018
They should 'continue' the GRIMM story with actress, Nicole Steinwedell (Adult Diana) & Kevin Joy (Adult Kelly) as the two main characters. They concluded the original Grimm and know all about the "Trailer'.

Then, old cast members like Nick Burkhardt, Trubul, Bud, Rosalee, Monroe, Claire, etc... can all make guest appearances knowing that their roots are still there.

A different taste of Grimm - An epic ending
ManjeetG24 January 2019
When I started watching Grimm, I liked it. Over the seasons, I ended up loving it! So sad to see the end of this great show. I will miss Grimm, it's characters, the great cast who played these beloved characters, the family they became together, the stories, the quotes and clever titles of each episode, the books (love books!), the history, and so on. It has been a thrilling, amazing ride and the final episode did justice to the whole heart of this excellent show. It connected us to the beginning in a very intelligent way, also bringing back two loved characters, everything coming full circle. Our emotions were wrenched this way and that way. The final plot twist was entirely plausible, and most welcome. All was brought to a very fitting conclusion. Nicely done. "Ahh, parting is such sweet sorrow." Farewell, Grimm and Thank You.

Goodbye to a Beloved Show
roseybaby63-59-431491 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I've been a fan since the very beginning. While I'm sad the show's over, the final episode didn't disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat. While I didn't think they would end with all those deaths, I was so afraid they would. It would've been easy to kill them all off and have evil win. I mourned each death, and hoped there would be a saving grace at the end. It was a damned roller coaster ride of emotions for me. I was so happy with the ending. I loved seeing Kelly and Diana all grown up. I wished we could've seen Monroe and Rosalie's kids. I have all kinds of hope that they will come out with a next generation Grimm. The potential is there and I'd love to see the story continue in that way. Saying goodbye was hard, but the ending made me happy. This is one of the best shows I've watched. Cheers, dear Grimm. Cheers.

Marathon Worthy
estathena215 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
An enjoyable series from start to finish that skillfully mixed fairytales & world mythologies with just the right touch of real - today's Portland and very human characters.

Having watched it when it was first broadcast & marathoned it twice I wish it would've kept to its "monster of the week" formula for a few more seasons before embarking on its cataclysmic storyline that brings us to its final end but beggars can't be choosers.

I do wish Monroe & Rosalie would've been offered a spin-off as they were & still are my favorites.

A great ending
xx-riot-girl-xx31 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great ending to a wonderful TV show. I was truly heartbroken for every death I saw of the characters I have grown to love and just when you think all is lost 2 old faces show up and help save the day. Just the simply echo of Kelly's voice made me smile and say well sh*t just got more real that ever. The happy ending was like a fairy tale and this seemed only fitting for a TV show like Grimm. Simply put I love this show and I will miss it

An ending done right for a change!
jreneehughes25 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I loved binge watching this entire series, but, when I got to the last episode I was so afraid that I would be disappointed like the ending of the Sopranos, Trublood, The Originals, and Game of Thrones, etc. Instead they decided to give this show a send off that would make many of the shows fans actually happy including bringing back people that had been killed off earlier in the series to make things more interesting and a fast forward to the future to see how things turned out for the main characters. Thank you to the producers, writers and especially the actors for actually making the ending worth watching.

Love the Show, Liked the last episode, Could have been longer
jkling74403 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
My wife and I have been fans since about the 3rd episode. So, with baited breath we watched the finale. Liked how it went and how they "played with the timeline." However, we felt it was too short and a little rushed. It should have been at least a 90 minute episode or 2 hour episode. Loved Kelly and Aunt Marie! Loved seeing grown-up Kelly and Diana, but really wanted to see the triplets! Yes, there were plot holes, but "willing suspension of disbelief."

Just one word ; Awesome
kingofclay-875167 December 2019
I usually dont review but Grimm deserves it . The start , the stories , the episodes , the direction , the suspense , the character building ,the jokes , the fun . the friendship of monroe and grimm , the partnership of hank , nick and wu . absolute great . the characters of rosealee , juliette and trubel are loveable . The Grimm and Monroe stand out most prominent . this show is a must watch .

Wow!! Please bring it back!
wdwdonna9 January 2023
The best show I've watched in a long time. My husband never watches anything supernatural but he really liked this and has binged with me the entire 6 seasons more than I'm going to admit. Can't believe it ended but I was satisfied. Well done. Where was I when this first came out! Although.... I would not have been able to wait each week for the next episode! I've tried watching a few more shows that were recommended since I've watched Grimm, but none compare for me. The characters are all good together and "Monroe" is one of my favorites. Not a fan of Juliet but I love the other main character's!

Grimm ending
Geekfreak132 April 2017
Brilliant. Loved the way it was wrapped up.

The door has been opened for a new series.

I am so happy they brought back his mother and aunt.

I started watching from the first episode, and told everyone I know to watch.

My only regret is they stopped using stories from the original Grimm Brothers fairy tales.

One thing I truly loved about the series, is using the Grimm Brothers tales, in doing so you have educated the masses on the origins of some of the most well loved works in history.

Thank you all.

Disappointing
jojessy9 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode did not do the series justice. It seemed rushed and just thrown together. The whole idea of the stick throughout season 6 was senseless. It was like the writers gave up. I was expecting a far more creative and interesting story about the keys. The last 10 minutes felt like a scene from Wizard of Oz where Dorothy wakes up in her bed and tells her family about being in a different place. Having all the main characters die gave me the sense that they would all come back in the end. I mean every great ending unfortunately has a significant death but this was jut too unbelievable. I would have liked to have seen all of the main characters in the 20 years from now scene. I just felt cheated from what should of been an ending I would talk about for days.

*face palm* ILLOGICAL Warning: Spoilers
Don't read this until AFTER you've seen the episode. Too many spoilers.

The show's writers continue to execute their recent losing streak of intelligent scripting in this episode (see my review of Episode 12 for more gaffaws). This is the most important episode of all 6 seasons, as everyone knows a poorly done last episode can leave a lasting icky taste in people's mouths, despite the overall success of the series. (Game of Thrones is a great example.) Really should have gotten more sleep guys. 🤦‍♀️

My complaints:

No one thinks to make Juliette into a Hexenbiest again so she can actually help. And no one tells her to sit out the fight after it becomes clear she can't really help in battle anymore as a fragile human. 🤦‍♀️ It doesn't occur to use the healing stick while Juliette is still alive. He waits for her to die and then tries. 🤦‍♀️

No one thinks to make some more invisibility dust after discovering Kelly is also a target in the last episode. 🤦‍♀️

No one thinks to find a way to break the staff into pieces again, since it was previously disclosed that it had been shattered (into 100 pieces) and scattered to prevent this very evil from having power. Must be a way to do it again. 🤦‍♀️

No one thinks to use Trubel's blood (pssst...she's a Grimm too) for the Force du Sang potion, despite the fact she's 10 feet away and Nick is miles away. 🤦‍♀️ And why is Nick even going to them? His whole reasoning in the last episode was that the kids would be safer is he stayed away. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

There's no explanation why Diana suddenly *wants* to go with skull face, instead of being scared of him, or attempting to defend her friends and family from attack. (She's probably the only one powerful enough to defeat him by herself.) 🤦‍♀️

Not once does Nick try to use the stick to heal people *BEFORE* they die. (Never resurrected people previously...just healed them.) 🤦‍♀️

Why is it no one can hold the stick but Nick, not even Trubel (another Grimm), when it belonged to all Grimms before him? 🤦‍♀️

And why didn't skull guy just tap his stick on the ground (like he did in the other world) and blast everyone away?

And if you are going to bring back ancestors, do it BIGGER!! This magnificent untouchable enemy was defeated easily by 4 Grimms, when 2 Grimms couldn't make a dent? Not remotely believable. 🤦‍♀️

And why does Nick throw the massive stick on the ground in defeat, when he's already seen its power to resurrect previously (Trubel).

What the eff??? Why is everyone so senseless and stupid in these last 2 episodes? Your audience shouldn't be thinking of the next move (and of BETTER moves) before the main characters. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So frustrating.

Awesome Ending To A Great Show
johnyskar9 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Had not watched the finale until now. Just want to say that mid- episode i was and would have stayed so angry and disappointed...! BUT i was hoping for the twist and it came and the ending was Awesome! I liked the reunion of many characters and the open/happy ending with the next generation.. Even Diana who is a naughty brat turns out great! Cool, you will be missed Grimm!

Every death made me sad but when the massive massacre happened i could only hoped for the change at the end and the happy ending...

One could worry that they will leave blanks and unanswered questions as in half of the episodes you 'd watch autonomous and case by case stories but in the final episodes they went all in preparing for the final battle and connecting many dots.

Also the flashbacks from back in the start were very nice, they blended in nicely with the melancholy for the invested viewers who were there from the beginning.

Finally the last touch with the "Thank You" in many languages was also kind and appreciated because if you know your audience, we also know you more.(Greek here).

Terrific ending to a wonderful show
Mattjohnsonva14 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Thank you everyone involved in making this show. From the off it was something quite different to your average cop show or your average monster show. The characters are wonderful and the acting is spot on. There's a great chemistry between all the actors and whilst not every episode has a fantastic story the cast interactions make up for it.

This final episode was brilliant, if a little short. I think it also became obvious that Nick's family would live again, although they weren't brought back to life as some here have said, this was a temporal event and so they never actually died.

Going for 10/10 for this episode and 9/10 for the entire show. I do hope there is a follow up series.

So, so sad!

Why was this cancelled? So many out here are heartbroken it's gone.

It was quite simply the best thing on TV bar Game of Thrones. Pure television class! I loved the ending and the glimpse into the future. A spin off maybe? I will miss it so very much, and all the lovely characters! Luckily, I have every season on disc, and have already watched it through twice.

After losing some people close to him, Nick finally faces his most powerful enemy. Can he succeed? Great ending to an awesome show. Thanks.......hope for a spin-off. I enjoyed the way it ended. This episode was planned pretty well. Thank you the cast and crew for years of great entertainment.

It sucks Man..to see this beloved series not going on anymore. Maybe there will be adventures of Kelly Burkhardt as New Grimm but i quess not..

Depends on your loyalty
KizzyD13 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I've rated the series itself higher, but this episode .. SPOILER Maybe it's just me, but I really hoped Julliette /Nick would end up together again. The whole Adalind thing seemed more like a filler. Also, having Truble end up just near the end of the series instead of all season just seems wrong. I guess they might have not known the end of the series until halfway through the season, but still. I would have liked a better way to explain everyone dying instead of 'I just went through time'. Anyway, Huge fan of the series, not a fan of the end. I'll guess I'll just make up my own :)

WTH Fell of a cliff edge..
paulgotts1 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
What a lousy way to end the series and run. Total let down to be fair with the 20 years later element completely killing the ending and not leaving room for a come back.. I guess after killing this one monster all was just peachy for the GRimms from there after...

No imagination, no class and effort used to end on a high.. More of a cut and run sadly..

Lazy Writing
Nomad00713 October 2020
Horrible wrap up. Felt like there was a writers strike and everyone was working without a script. They tried to cram too much in to two little time and it was done haphazardly. Total let down for a conclusion.

Also anyone waiting for the spin-off that was two years ago, and it's never happened so don't go holding out hope.

Atrocious sell out
bdoserror_imdb14 April 2017
I'm extremely disappointed in this finale. I gave the show a chance because David Greenwalt was a Joss Whedon alum and for most of the series he lived up to that. The finale was a total sell out, Hollywood style. I can't believe this is rated above a 9.

122 fine to good to great episodes and story / world building all let down by 1 weak ass stereotypical ending with a lazy, contrived plot and telegraphed "twist" that left me angry. The only consolation is that now I won't miss the series.

Well, that was stupid
cherold4 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I'm amazed at how many people enjoyed the truly wretched finale of Grimm. Perhaps it's because the last couple of seasons have been weak and the people most likely to hate the ending had already stopped watching?

Anyway, like much of the later seasons, Grimm wants to be big and apocalyptic. An evil, all-powerful creature wants to marry Adalind's morally ambiguous, all-powerful little girl and create hell on earth. This involves that mysterious stick and the evil guy's success relies to a great part on the characters blindly running into situations without proper research.

So the evil creature kills everyone Nick loves. It was a bit of a shock the first time it happened, but with each additional death it became increasingly obvious that they would all be brought back to life, because network television, which made the overwrought emoting increasingly annoying.

And then, sure enough, they brought everyone back to life, as though Nick had just woken up after his trip to Oz and was saying, you were all there, even Toto.

Look, Grimm was always a silly show, but I'm not sure it ever got quite this stupid before. It's a shame that it had to go out in such ridiculous fashion.

awful not happy ending
aishans1 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I have been watching the Grimm and i liked this concept and the storyline. But how it ended in a short is something i don't like it. Seems like it is being shutdown due to less viewer (TRP). But people like me who liked/enjoyed this season and always waiting for the new episodes, who watches episodes without break and wondering how it will be next on new episode were totally disappointed by how the story ended in the rush.
