Delightful nonsense.
Sleepin_Dragon11 May 2019
The format seems settled now, Alison stuck between two worlds, real life, and the world of the living dead. We got the same form as the previous episode, only this time we get actors instead of builders. The execution is better in this episode, it's funnier, and allows the ghosts to be even more bonkers.

Credit to all the actors playing ghosts, not an easy task, but each is excellent, Katy Wix in particular, but the Captain is so funny, deeply in the closet, his reactions to the hunky visitors are hilarious.

Nutty and funny. 8/10

A Heavy Weight Production

When Button House is desired by a film crew to do a period drama, the ghosts are either angry or involved. Unfortunately, the house is very old and not in good condition and film equipment is very heavy. Also, the lead in the drama is very handsome and draws the attentions of our heroine. That doesn't detract from the fact that there are some great moments. The ghosts are so sincere in their motives. By the way, I wish someone could put that guy's head back on his wandering body.

Thomas Thorne plagiarised by Lord Byron

Warning: Spoilers
Button House is not exactly in good hands since the Coopers Alison and Mike, took up residence with them managing to scare away the builders.

Having previously jacked in both of their jobs they desperately, need money to pay for repairs to their crumbling old pile.

They therefore welcomed the TV company searching for filming locations with open arms, it really seemed rather too good to be true.

They are dramatising the life of the poet Lord Byron which rather puts, Button House resident scribe Thomas Thorne nose out of joint.

Whilst Mike Cooper has to contend with his wife Alison's feelings, for the male lead Toby Nightingale.

This is really the least of Mike's worries when Alison, is so keen to get the TV company's money.

That she is to say the least economical with the truth, about the property's structural integrity.

A film crews uses the house to make a period drama.

It allows the Ghosts to show varying reactions to the film crew in action. Lady Button is horrified with all the permissiveness especially with Alison having a free pass with the star of the production.

Kitty rather likes the romp aspects of the story and the handsome male lead. The Captain regards himself as the director and production expert.

Of course the house is too creaky to hold a film crew but Alison and Mike like the money. It is 3k a day enough to Mike try to hold back his jealousy that his wife always fancied the lead actor.

This one is daffy fun, Thomas upset over the portrayal of Byron in the production. Julian wanting to just find out who is the winner of the Derby.

I guess the film star Toby Nightingale is a parody of Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice.

Another fun episode here. Good premise, some well-done humor and at least it ended on a somewhat happy note ensuring that Mike and Alison are on good terms.
