So glad to see my hopes have become reality...
aarongnr9 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
When I heard that the show would be picked up by Netflix, my first thought was: YES, now we will finally get some good visual effects. Thank god I was right. The devil face was one of the things that always bugged me before, because it looked SO bad. Now it looks awesome. Not sure if its prostetics or CGI, but it looks very believable.

Oh and to the one guy saying that the writers should know that angel-human childs existed: This is a fantasy show in a fantasy world, you cant say the writers are bad because there are angel-human babies in other kinds of literature. Doesnt make any sense. Or else you should also say that the writers are bad because they literally just said that the forbidden apple in garden Eden was actually Lucifers cock.

Take that, Decker!
simoneblue13 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In all honesty, I'm DeckerStar for life, but come on. She BETRAYED him. He has always loved, respected, and protected her. Even when he did stupid things, it was either for her or out of fear she would hate him. His whole world has become CHLOE. I love them together, but she honestly doesn't deserve Lucifer. He is always honest and open, and she has almost never believed him. In return for his honesty, she deceived him. She doubts him constantly and makes him feel horrible about himself because he puts her on a pedestal and loathes himself when she gets hurt. She takes him for granted. And then, when she finds out the man that NEVER lies turns out to be telling the truth, she almost gets him killed! Instead of talking with him and working it out like partners. The worst thing Linda did was hide away, and she's not the love of his life. She didn't truly love him, otherwise she would have accepted him. He showed his most vulnerable side, and she tried to destroy him for it. I don't like Eve any better, but at least she isn't judgmental. At least she accepts him. Chloe was too late, and Eve was there, so Lucifer chose the person who loved him unconditionally. Poor devil is going through hell right now.

Good EVE-ning Detective!

Warning: Spoilers
Good golly Miss Molly! I found myself getting a bit sappy about the idea of Chloe and Lucifer getting together, then he saved her life, showed her his true face and Chloe fell apart.

Then along came a girl and ordered an Appletini and I said "Holy cow it's EVE!" And the way she's portrayed made her irresistible. I LOVE that character! I hope she sticks around like Maze! She's perfect for Lucifer and the fact that it will make Chloe squirm is a huge bonus!

Awesome spin! I love it!

And I don't know if I'm the only one but I'm seriously hoping Maze and Dan get it on. I thought it would happen after their big fight scene. That crap should get Maze's engine running hard! She should have jumped him on the hood of that car after the scene. Dan wouldn't know what hit him! TV GOLD!

It's cute and all but she's just not doing it for me....

Warning: Spoilers
I like how they brought eve back into the show and all.... and it's actually pretty cool...

BUT

I dont like her. She's an idiot. She's like the rest of Lucifer's one night stands. You know? like the ones we get to see in one or two scenes where they're saying something stupid.

Except, dear old EVE is in almost every scene of this episode and she's ALWAYS saying something styoOpid.

I expected more maturity from the very first female that ever walked this earth.

Both mental and sexual maturity.

I mean she acts like a middle schooler, I wouldnt go for her in my sleep, so i cant imagine how Lucifer, the devil, would ever fall in love with her.

UNLESS he just REAALLY liked boning her.

In which case, i agree she has a nice body.

Might as well just mute her, and make her twerk through out the entire episode instead of giving her crappy lines.

Though it was all great from Eve showing up till accepting Lucifer for who truly he is, I was at doubt whether rating this episode highly is right or not. So, positively, I decided put maximum)

And Chloe and Lucifer are broken again.
molly-mortensen13 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Anyone who watches the trailer knows that this season's twist is that Eve, Lucifer's first love, returns to Earth. I didn't like her at first but she grew on me.

The Amenadiel and Linda part was cute this episode. Maze needs a storyline of her own though. And Dan needs to get over hating Lucifer already.

Why would Lucifer let someone else collect on his favor? All he had to say was "When did I say you paid my favor back to anyone other than me?"

For years I've been mad at Chloe when she doesn't listen to Lucifer and winds up getting him hurt. It was gratifying to see him get mad when she shows up for a change. (Even if he was more mad at her than that he was hurt.)

I can totally understood why. Judging by the end of this episode, Chloe and Lucifer aren't going to make up any time soon.

Writers? Nephilim?
kevin-mcc9 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Nephilim are the offspring of angels and humans. According to the Bible the Nephilim existed, and that would mean the baby of Amenadiel and Dr. Linda Martin is not a first. Amenadiel should know this biblical story. Kind of disappointing the writers did not know the story in a biblical related show.
