The best thing about MJ is that he did his things and didn't give a crap what anyone else thought about him. The whole part about people being upset because he didn't endorse that guy running for Senate is awesome because MJ basically showed he wasn't going to cave to the pressure of what everyone "thought" he was supposed to do. He was smart enough to know what getting involved in politics was a dirty enough game and he want no part of it.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode focused on MJ's peak of fame through the Olympics, Nike deal (btw a crazy investment) and him becoming a culture icon.
I'm not from this era so I can only assume his level of fame but people still wear and talk about Air Jordans which is crazy.
I also got used to the narrative structure that jumps between different periods. Halfway through season!

Poor Toni, why are these guys picking on me. "Pay That Man His Money." Can't get that close to Michael or it's a foul. :) Clyde Drexler was clearly the second best two-guard at the time, of course they're going to make comparisons. Nobody's on Jordan's level though, it's about the same comparing Kobe to him. There are a hell of a lot of players in between, they just play the same position. Bit too much media, advertising and politics in this one.
