Estelle Parsons plays Babe, a neighbor who is known for living life to the fullest. She has been a cancer survivor, but now it has returned with a ferocity and she wants Frankie to assist in her suicide. She decides to throw a big party, invite all her friends, and then retire other bedroom and eat some poison pudding. Grace continues to sulk over her recent encounter with Phil, not knowing that Frankie must decide whether to help her friend bid goodbye to the world. The show is about dying with dignity but raises some questions. Grace's moral stature makes it really hard to accept such a decision. She decides not to attend the party, even though she loves Babe. There is a subplot as Robert and Sol decide to sell Robert's house and start anew in a place of their own. Quite an episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I completely understand why "Babe" wanted to end her life however I strongly disagree on how. A person so full of life could of said one more thing to one more person that could of changed their life. Ridiculous! There are strong drugs for pain and trained caregivers, hospice etc.
This is a selfish choice IMO and Frankie should of refused to help her. Also, Babe put her friends at risk for criminal charges and penalties. Assisted Suicide is not humane, and it should never be the answer. Life is precious and should be treasured. None of us could control when we were born, and IMO none of us can control our deaths. As individuals we may not be aware of the effect we can have on others (good or bad) even when we are near the end.
