First off, the music starting the movie instantly makes you interested and wondering what is going to happen. You can tell that it is setting something up. You're not sure what it is yet, but you want to keep watching to find out. The whole time you are thinking to yourself "oh man, I really hope he doesn't do it," even though you know he will. It was a very cool concept how he read the Lord's Prayer backwards and how the candle was still lit. It gave the whole feel a very intense emotion. After he did the action in the mirror, I wasn't sure what happened. When he ended up going into his wife's room, then I knew that the demon switched places with Simon. It had me guessing and at the edge of my seat the whole time.
