Here we are, after the epic Game 6 conclusion. I said it could happen down 0-3, but will the Celtics finish the job on their home floor. Tatum rolls his ankle on the opening play down, but continues on and makes the right plays. Neither team effective offensively, Boston with just 15 points in the 1st term, down 7. Miami put a lot of scoreboard pressure on in the 2nd, knocking down the 3-ball. The Celtics respond somewhat, cutting the deficit to 11 by the half. Miami's others getting it done again. Despite Tatum still playing well on the ankle, unlikely to be able to takeover the game. It will come down to whether Miami turns the ball over or Boston can extract it defensively. Tatum can barely move in the 3rd, Adebayo struggling though. Neither team able to score consistently, Martin continuing to get it done for the Heat though, Miami up 10 going into the last. Butler with the steal and transition hoop, after Martin hits a 3 and Miami back out to a game-winning 17-point lead. Boston unable to get anything easy, Miami home comfortably. The Heat to face the Nuggets in the NBA Finals. Miami shot significantly better, 50% from 3 to Boston's 21%, neither team getting to the line much. The Heat +2 on the boards and took better care of the ball. Martin with an efficient 26 points and 10 boards, with just 1 turnover. Butler 28 points, 6 assists, 7 boards and 3 steals, with just 1 turnover as well. For Boston, Tatum with a respectable 14 points and 11 boards, playing through the pain. Brown had an inefficient night, with 8 turnovers.
