The Heat struggling to score, not an unusual occurrence, not involving Adebayo in the offense. Atlanta up 9 at the quarter break. Miami's woes continue in the 2nd, along with Atlanta's interior defense and dominance on the boards, they kick it out to 20. Lowry gives the Heat some life ending the half, bringing the deficit back to 15. Herro the Heat's only consistent source of scoring from the starting unit, starts the 3rd well and Miami go on a run, significantly cutting into the lead. The Hawks respond though, taking an 11-point lead into the last. Lowry continues to hit the 3's giving Miami hope, but Atlanta still able to close it out comfortably. They advance and will face Boston in the Playoffs. The Hawks shot better from the field, Miami from 3. The Heat took care of the ball with just 8 turnovers, but got smashed by 24 on the boards. Capela the most impactful player despite scoring just 4 points, with 21 boards, 8 offensive and 2 blocks. Okongwu 12 points and 4 blocks in just 19 minutes. Bey 17 points off the bench, with 6 boards, 4 offensive. Young 25 points, 7 assists and 8 boards. For the Heat, Lowry a super efficient 33 points off the bench, with 5 assists and no turnovers. Herro 26 points, 6 boards and 2 steals.
