In The Lovers, a love story blooms between two people who appear to be utterly wrong for each other, but they might just be entirely right. Janet a supermarket worker who doesn't care about anything, including her life, and Seamus, a self-centred political broadcaster.
This first episode's riddled with silliness and some of the dialogue's borderline atrocious haha, but there's substance there. Quality music choices are included as well. I like her say what she thinks attitude, while at the same time not being too proud to look eager or like a complete tool. I'm sure that's what he likes as well.
