Let's be honest some of the episodes this season haven't been wonderful, but this episode was defenitly redeeming. The family dynamics sort of Reapper in this episode with Richard, Bailey, Meredith, Maggie and Amelia. Teddy and Owens Relationship is at the rocks which is expected but overall this episode was an 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Bailey, she adjusts the surgery board. Meredith brought Nick coffee in the morning. Levi explains how Devon's death could have happened. Hayes says goodbye to Teddy, he will leave to Ireland with his children. Meredith says that the interns and residents need Richard. Amelia and Maggie meet Nick for the first time. Jo tells Link that they shouldn't have sex anymore. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 18, joyful Episode with not much happening in Meredith her life. The characters of Meredith is a little bit in the background this Season, because she is in Minnesota sometimes!

Hmmm... I have to admit it felt different than the previous ones. Slight improvement in quality but still it lacks in almost everything.
Sorry, your review is too short. It needs to contain at least 150 characters. Ok it does now!

Show/Character History anyone?
StarofAirdrie7 March 2022
This is a very good episode, many things are falling into place but I am seeing a future with Station 19 and no Grey's on my Thursdays. (unless Addison returns) After all these years, I prefer the writers keep plot/character consistent I have too much time on my hands I guess, plus I'm an advocate for the dying. So Owen offering 'mercy killing' his brothers-in-arms? No. I refer everyone to episode 18, Season 6, 'Suicide is Painless' when Teddy goes to Owen to sign off for her planned Physician Assisted Suicide, a procedure that was legal in Washington State in 2011 when the episode aired (the related law was passed in 2008). In that episode, the ask triggered Owen's PTSD to the point he dissociated. Now Owen's gone beyond believing in assisted suicide by offering his soldier buddies a lethal dose of medication to the group of soldiers dying from their lung injuries from the burn pits in the war. Yup, Owen breaking the Hippocratic Oath and the Law - I just don't see it... plus it sent Hayes back to Ireland.

Writing around social issues comes off as amateur
mbkmusic6 March 2022
All of a sudden Linc doesn't know how to talk to patients out of context? The writing here seemed desperate to address some random social issue without having a character that is innately ignorant to this topic. Kind of like when Amelia was "randomly racist" a few years ago just for the script to have an excuse to say "check your privilege." Here's the thing - these issues are important, deserve to be addressed in a way that is genuine and well prepared by the show's writing team. When they're thrown into the script in a way that is super "90's after show special" tacky and random, it weakens the message. I know Shonda has access to better writers than this, and has the time to develop a story arc that makes these issues make sense in the context that she is trying to present them. Please, don't just check boxes.

No no no. Rating this 1, not because the episode is THAT bad or worse than others, but this has gone too far. Glorifying being fat. Making it seem like weight isn't important for health, that is just wrong and dangerous! SHAPE UP GREY!!
Not helping Levi is horrible, and so out of character for any hospital and for a training hospital especially. Having him just falling like this is such a shame for the show. Really goes to show who they really are...
