- Absolutely no sex or nudity, even though it is clear in this version that Clara and Drosselmeyer's nephew Hans-Peter do fall in love.
- The Act II Pas de Deux is danced by the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. It is highly classical and not suggestive at all.
- Clara and Hans-Peter's Pas de Deux in the first act is highly romantic, but not suggestively sensual.
