This episode had the perfect amount of everything, from comedy to action and excellent writing to top it all off.

We are 5 episode in Peacemaker, and at this point we pretty much have our general opinions on this show. Some may find this childish, other may find this entertaining.
For the first few episodes I was kinda conflicted but overall leaning towards the entertaining side.
And after this episode I can say that I am really liking the show!
Some jokes felt like they went too long, but this is a very charming cast. I liked how they explored characters from The Suicide Squad (2021) while simultaneously introducing us to new characters like Leota and Vigilante.
I am curious to see what happens next and how the series ends.
Ps. James Gunn plz make a Ratcatcher or Bloodsport spinoff show. I heard you are developing another spinoff.

The story was moving slower this week but there is an energy to the absurd fights scenes, the jumping crazies in the gloomy zombie factory and all that monkey business. It's all so infectious. Like a X-files episode on acid.
Then Cena just pushes himself again and again to become the funniest superhero character EVER. We love him, his team loves him, he's just perfect. Nothing else to add. This show is just a perfect balance of many elements that could go so wrong in less expert hands. A+

11th Street kids vs. Butterflies

This episode was a total blast. Awesome action(superb team-up), hilarious conversations, such a sweet heartwarming sequence(11th street kids)followed by a jump scare & cliffhanger ending
John Cena naming every single Hollywood personality gotta be one of the most hilarious scenes ever. Jennifer Holland is the Best!

Ah, what an episode. The team dynamic continues to be great, the humor strongly grows. I barely had life cling unto me when Peacemaker joked about Superman having a "poop fetish". Dear god. I do agree with Harcourt how did he get all of this nonsense. GOOGLE. Also, bless James Gunn for making Kite-Man canon. I bet he loves all of DC's niche and dumb characters which isn't a bad thing. I've enjoyed some of them, too. The relationship between Peacemaker & Adebayo continues to establish more.
Tight pacing, brilliantly written, memorable fun soundtracks (( I've been listening to them for a while now. Thank you, James Gunn, for your blessed taste of music. )), and plentiful gore & action. Dye-Beard coming to save the day by using a chainsaw against a Super-Gorilla? Badass Seal of Approval. The subplot of Chris' dad convincing law enforcement that it wasn't him was pretty investing. The cliffhanger was hooking as well. Who knows if Adebayo is going to die? I hope not.

Monkey Dory is another great episode. The humor works perfectly, and in certain spots you even feel a good amount of emotion.
Vigilante was robbed his chainsaw kill, but Economos got it instead. In some ways, this feel like the real beginning of the team. Everyone has fun, and we can feel it as the audience. Every member is starting to feel like they belong, and it's great to see them smile and open up a bit.
We see these characters getting closer, while some of them simultaneously having their own agenda, which is kinda sad. The cliffhanger is awesome and tense. Murn is now exposed, and will fight to prevent the information from getting out. Let's Go.

The 5th episode is not as funny as the others, but it mostly makes up for it with the great emotional scenes that work better than the previous ones, the action is not as good but it's different and fun. This makes for a fun, heartfelt episode.

I feel like this episode is the best so far, because the character development each member of 11th Street kids are changing and growing into much healthy teamup and I have fear what's gonna to murn(freakin butterfly.

Some of the jokes go on for too long and become repetitive and unfunny.
Peacemaker's list of people that could had been framed instead of his dad might as well been the phone book of New York.
Much better was the shocking raid on the bottling plant. Peacemaker's x-ray vision helmet helped him spot butterflies in the skulls of their hosts. He blasted them without warning.
There was a fearsome fight with the rampaging gorilla. It all went bananas and you just knew someone will come to the rescue with a chainsaw.
At times the pace was too sedate as it goes for tomfoolery. The conspiracy elements gelled well though. Auggie is still stuck in jail despite his apparent innocence.
As for Leota she sees a bit too much when she tries on Peacemaker's helmet. It leads to one hell of a cliffhanger.

As we pass the midpoint in the season, Peacemaker delivers another solid episode. There are a lot of subplots, such as Caspar Locke, who is a new character that Murn recruited to divert police investigation and the whole purpose of Project Butterfly, role of Adebayo with her relation to her mom...etc.
Lots of things were packed into this 42 min-episode. Great sequence at the facility and excellent ending. I love that the actors were actually quite bloody even until they got back to the HQ, which makes it more realistic. The team is starting bond slowly as seen by Hartcourt's motherlike smile. Last episode was a bit of a disappointment but I am excited every Thursday night for more!

Slower but touching

This episode had a much slower pace then the previous few even with all the action. But it needed to show some touching moments to build up to some serious story arcs so that answer why, As you see peacemaker start to face some things finally. The episodes have done a good job at doing cliffhangers and this one is no exception. The slower pace and more serious theme in this one did slow down the jokes at the end as well.

This entire series has been such a pleasure to watch. I think this is my favorite episode so far. Loving the character development for pretty much everyone. What at ending too?? I have to wait another week to see what happens next? That won't be easy. JC has been killing it but I did expect it. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have expectations before the show aired. I knew it would rock.

I love this show so this episode by no means was bad but I think it's maybe the weakest yet. I still loved it but it was a little bit off. I thought there wasn't really enough comedic bits to make up for the rather dark serious tone of the episode. The gorilla scenes was hilarious and awesome but to me the CGI looked pretty bad. But damn Economos! The ending was awesome thought and probably the best cliffhanger of the show so far. Can't wait for next week and I'm also very curious about what the diary is all about. Overall it's still a great episode I just think the tone felt a little bit unbalanced especially compared to last week which I think was the funniest and at the same time the most heartfelt episode. Also the gorilla CGI was a little spotty but overall another good episode. 8/10.

I don't the last time I was this excited for a TV show was Loki and Wandavision but this Episode, man it's so so so so so perfection and hilarious and John Cena kills it kills it, I can't believe how good this show and this episode was, Damn I am still watching the end credits again and again .

This show has been on a role and it's not showing any signs of slowing down. This was another terrific episode with alot of charcter progression and of course the usual comdey blended in with some very good action. The cliffhanger at the end was very cool as well.

This episode together with the two previous episodes gives me a slight hope that this series still might end better than it started. The humor is still mostly stupid, but the plot is thickening, and there are some plot twists that can lead somewhere interesting.
