Abused wife turns into cold blooded killer
kmhlbeavis29 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The characters for this installment of sleepless society are Chad, Rat, Top, Tew, Jin, Ploy, Kate and the old dude that I don't remember his name. Kate is the wife of chad who abuses her, sleeps with her best friend ploy and also sleeps with Rat. Ploy throws a party for kate and she winds up in bed only to wake up to a dead person that she killed as it will be disclosed later. So Top takes the fall for 7 million bhat so that his brother tew can have a better life. Tew not knowing that top did this launches and undercover type investigation with his professor Tom. He gets close to kate and falls in love with her, meanwhile poor professor tom gets runned over and killed by Rat when he was about to detain Chad. Jin is jealous because she likes tew and tew is in love with kate. Things get messy in the end when a female police officer finds the evidence implicating kate in the murder. At the very end she winds up dying when kate shoots her and then Kate stabs tew in the heart killing him as well because he asks her to surrender. I forgot to mention that Rat was killed also. So in the end kate convinces the guard that she has to pee so they make a stop at a restroom and then she disappears. The ending was inconclusive because nobody knows where kate wound up. At first when I started watching the sleepless society programs I thought that it was like a horror type program. What they mean by the title is that criminals don't sleep, they operate day and night. It was an okay watch nothing to be too excited about.

Early review

Everybody so far is sleeping with everyone . Husband sleeps with wifes bestie, also with his male assistant. Wife sleep with male hooker and later with his brother, he becomes more of a love interest. Where TEW got his wardrobe, who knows, a plain white tee seems to be all he wears, while she is dressed in successful business attire. Going to continue past Ep5 to see where this goes

Two Pillows Is Too Messy
gosophat17 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Two Pillows desperately wants to be a clever murder mystery but tips its hand in the early din the series. There was really no need for 13 episodes. And I'm not sure what the show was trying to say (if anything) about women who are victims of domestic violence. Kate is physically abused by her husband Chad which causes her to dream about killing him. But instead she kills the guy, Bank, who just happens to be in the bed with her at a party her friend Ploy (who is having an affair with Chad) threw for her. Kate had actually hooked up earlier at the party with Top who is Tew's older brother. Top is accused of murdering Bank and is willing to take the blame to get money for Tew's unbeknownst to Tew. Tew wants to get revenge on Kate because he knows Top is not a murderer because Top has an allergy to surgical gloves which is why he didn't go to medical school. And it goes on like this throughout all 13 episodes. Two Pillows is too messy.

Dreamy, romantic far-eastern yarn about a celebrity with husband problems.
canuckteach22 May 2020
Her husband is a well-connected politician with a bright future in government. The lady herself is a very pretty lecturer, but trapped in a bad marriage. She attends a bit of a wild party one night & wakes up with a dead guy. Oops. The husband's cronies 'fix' everything, including setting up one of the male party-goers for the homicide. And this all comes early, you see?

It happens that the brother of the 'patsy' is a bit of an investigative reporter, with decent resources to assist him in digging into the crime. He gets a job as a Personal Assistant to the lady, but soon he grows very fond of her (she is perhaps 10 years older). He is trying to determine if she has the 'form' to commit the homicide, but 'those lips-those eyes' make it a tough assignment. The abusive husband, meantime, proves to be a self-serving, glaring thug, chasing attractive young ladies (and men), and showing himself without a single redeeming quality. He seems to me a very likely candidate for the homicide that started this whole story off, but we are only on Episode 5 (of 13?)-so, we cannot provide any spoilers.

Performances, camera work, background scenery & music are all first-class-so, I think we will stick with this one, and test our hunches. 8/10

Surprisingly good!

I haven't watched much Thai dramas but recently tried the sleepless society series as I like suspense and mystery type shows. Have watched 2 out of the 4 so far on Netflix and am very impressed. The plot kept my interest (not shallow or superficial at all) and also made me think. Acting, etc all fairly high quality in my opinion. Will try to follow the makers of this series if they make more shows like this - hope they do!! Surprised there are not more good reviews.
