I was impressed that this short film looks like a feature - not what you expect from shorts. I thought the tone and feel was well done, maintaining the audience on edge. The score and music choices were appropriate and the acting was good. The actor who played the father was not so believable but he's only in it for a brief moment so the viewer gets by this hurdle. The only negative is that I would like to see more - the twist is great but unsatisfactory in that it leaves a lot of questions for the viewer to figure out. If that was the purpose, well done however, I'd be curious to hear the filmmakers interpretation of the twist.
