RIP anything meaningful about winn
lhanham16 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This epsiode wasent as terrible as some people Say it is but it is not great either. Trying to put kara in a relationship with willliam is So terrible i dont know Why the show keeps doing this. Lex and lena are some of the best villians On the show and they are being underused. Plus i really wished winn would be back for more than two episodes

WTF is going on this day?
edicionccq28 January 2020
C'mon, are you gonna tell me that you didn't see this coming?

William is obviously Kara's love interest, he's hot. a reporter, he wants to uncover the truth about some weird things and he's likely to discover Kara's identity pretty quick. So this was very obvious, but a couple of romantic scenes are not enough to rate this episode so poorly, it was kinda good.

Good Cast, Good Direction
richwagener30 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It was good seeing Jeremy Jordan again and his dual role was great. Jon Cryer was great as Lex. I wouldn't get to worked up about the whole William thing. Pretty sure he's here for one season. Only drawback is the annoying Andrea Rojas. Not interesting, just annoying.

A 1-star episode because of a possible romance.. You guys need to chill

Jesus christ. The audience who reviews this on this site are kind of limited in my opinion.

This episode was great. We had Winn returning, we have Legion's ship, we have the Tower, the cool Eye of the Tiger scene.

You guys are pathetic honestly, this was a great episode.

Great Episode being review bombed by toxic anti-William people
renegadehunter28 January 2020
This episode is fantastic. The story line the return of a fan favorite character and the introduction of some huge comic book locations. However it seems that a very vocal minority of the community is review bombing this episode for a relationship they don't like. Please take into account

A: The relationship isn't that bad.

B: Even if you don't like it, it is in about 45 seconds of the episode.

Shoving Kara into a romance with an underdeveloped character who she has no chemistry with? Boring and annoying.

I love this show
mystique00913 February 2020
We are near the 100th episode of the show and so called fans of Supergirl are spilling hatred on writers and the entire show just because Kara may or may not get a boyfriend in the future? Are you freaking serious and ignoring all the characters performance? their storylines? Seriously this great episode got less than 7 rating? Just because your freaking ship is never going to happen on the show??? (Which actually the fans made-up themselves). What a shame at these so-called fans of Supergirl who are spreading hatred and negativity in this society. They even want to boycott this show. So yeah boycott it. Go ahead boycott this show. In this way Supergirl will get rid of toxicity.

For your sake, stop living in fantasy world and stop spreading hatred and negativity in this society. People watch their favorite shows to relax themselves at the end of the day. There is already so much stress and anxiety in everyone's life. So just freaking shut your mouth.

To all true fans of Supergirl, keep spreading positivity everywhere.

No matter what I love Supergirl.

"You're Supergirl. Being in your orbit, it's inspiring"
RobinKarlsson2228 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What a great directing of David Harewood! Great to see Jeremy Jordan back and his interactions with everyone. Stunning cinematography all over this episode, great atmosphere and as always the acting is fantastic.

I really liked Nia in this episode, the acting of Nicole was splendid! I I adore her friendship with Winn. And how they mention and teases about Nura. An emotional scene between Brainy and Winn. And what a sweet moment with everybody, when they're playing at the end.

Also i'm interesting in how they will (potential) handle Kara and William's relation.

Overall this was a excellent episode: 9.8/10

this was definitely not ali adler's vision
mfcruz28 January 2020
The show needs a new showrunner and writers, loved season one but the show swiftly went downhill since jessica queller had control, this episode, just like so many, proves it. The same old "boy is mean to girl so it must be love" pre school bs that queller did for gossip girl. This show is about superGIRL and frankly, I'm sick of the revolving door of men being propped up instead of them giving kara and the main cast an actual real story

Best of this Season
djriter28 January 2020
It is truly a shame that this exceptional episode featuring the return of Jeremy Jordan as Winn Shott, and beautifully directed by David Harewood is the target of 1-star campaign. The show, the stars and this episode deserve far better treatment than they're getting from fans throwing temper tantrums because they aren't seeing the ship they want to see.

God Why?
ekohnkohn27 January 2020
I loved having Winn back, he was sorely missed. But god, WHY are they shoving Kara into a romance with a man she's barely had positive interaction with? And especially in this post-crisis timeline where Will thinks they JUST met? Individual the actors are great, but together they have no chemistry and it's so tiring. It's like these writers have no clue how to write a good love interest for their lead.

AMAZING EPISODE! They should do a legion based show
cristianatoaca28 January 2020
The episode was extraordinary, Winn is back, the tower is amazing!!!! I love how now they frequently mention the other shows Bcs they're on the same earth!! Brainy with Lex is still hard to swallow and I really like how they have written brainia.

Tbh I think that what had really ruined this ep, for me, was THAT relationship between kara and William, like they can be friends, I would love that, but I don't want more... Melissa still played it really good!!! David did a great job!

And this whole thing... this episode made me feel like there has to be a legion show, they would do such great things!

Terrible paring
conicion27 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe you're trying to be a show that inspire young woman and you put kara with a man that treats her poorly again. With no build up, no chemistry, even mon el makes more sense than this. Once again terrible writing in this show.

steven-7791328 January 2020
This was a great ep and once again David Harewood has shown he is a great director/actor. I love the Supergirl series and Melissa is truly Supergirl in real life and on screen along with Chyler and so many others. So all the hateful Shippers can disappear.

so tired.
jessicaBgriffin27 January 2020
Its honestly so tragic and disheartening that 2 women, who's storyline and chemistry has been built up over 3 seasons, who have time after time shown how much they love each other, have fought tooth and nail to save each other on several occasions, are so implausible as love interests that they have to write in a completely new male character just so their lead has a romantic partner. like i'm honestly just so tired.

Good episodes, but there are shippers who hate this
jbistiz27 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was actually pretty good. I loved seeing Winn again. I also loved his scene Brainy.

It's also funny to see all these Supercorp shippers spamming this episode with 1 star because Kara seems to have another romance brewing. It's only your (Supercorp shippers) own faults for ALWAYS seeing things that weren't there. I mean she did say right away in the Pilot episode of the series that she isn't gay. You shippers need to get that into your thick skulls! Stating that fact does not make one a homophobe, which you shippers are constantly throwing that out there, along with the word "queerbait". Just because you shippers see stuff that weren't there, it doesn't mean it was "queerbait". You over used that word.

Anyway, get over yourselves, this was a good episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Cringe-worthy fighting and truthfully even cringier plotlines, the writers forget their hero has superspeed, but she uses it later on. Powers and logic here work as convenience for whatever stupid plot this show has.

The romance doesn't make any sense either, and they clearly don't care about their fandom and their opinion on the characters and story arcs whatsoever. Tired.

Chief called and guess what he said? THIS. AIN'T. IT.
nayeonsus27 January 2020
Really made me a bit annoyed how the writers paralleled some *platonic* scenes with Kara and Lena and it is somehow romantic when it was with Will like??? the direction with Kara and this possible love interest just doesn't seem necessary or maybe at least build up their relationship and MAYBE have them get together in season 6 because as of right now William's character is just. There. character number 10.

Bad storytelling
gemma4nashville27 January 2020
Shoe horning a love interest with no build up or any kind of chemistry for the LEAD of the show all the way in season 5 is just...not smart. Dragging out the Toyman plot is also annoying, considering this show only has 20 episodes this season, so are the writers really lacking in wit enough to not have a way for Winn to help with Leviathan? Nia should be the one investigating with Kara, considering that was her entire role and actual build up last season-- and the two make an excellent mentor/mentee pair. Also, who's brilliant idea was it to have Lena's "heart's desire" be a beach when we know her real mom drowned in the ocean??
