Batwoman: Off with Her Head (2020)
So fantastic!!
How does this show continue to get better and better and better and...well, ya get it!!
Batwoman: How Queer Everything Is Today! (2020)
episode that officially got me hooked!
This episode was not only well-written, but it was kinda meta in the sense that it showed just how important This show is to us!! Thank you Batwoman for being my hero on screen and off screen as my representation <3
Batwoman (2019)
low star reviews haven't even seen it...
This show is actually fantastic! I was worried during advertisements because it seemed like the representation would be hamfisted...but it's not. Everything is organic and the characters are just well-written, complex people; not tokenized or anything. The storylines are fantastic and I'm honestly obsessed! Kudos to this amazing new show :)
Supergirl: It's a Super Life (2020)
Kara and Lena
Seriously the greatest dynamic on the show. This episode proved it! Crazy how they're soulmates, yet the show still shies away from capitalizing on it...
Supergirl: Back from the Future - Part One (2020)
so tired.
Its honestly so tragic and disheartening that 2 women, who's storyline and chemistry has been built up over 3 seasons, who have time after time shown how much they love each other, have fought tooth and nail to save each other on several occasions, are so implausible as love interests that they have to write in a completely new male character just so their lead has a romantic partner. like i'm honestly just so tired.
Supergirl: Parasite Lost (2018)
Guardian needs to stick to his day job...
He's so full of himself, and frankly detrimental. James should stick to being a hero at Catco, like Kara does when she knows she can't be Supergirl. This episode showed a good juxtaposition of why Kara is a true hero and why James is a self-absorbed wannabe.
Regarding the end, I find it hard to believe that a character who's had lines about experiencing racism/intolerance in other eps would choose to work with a xenophobe using his platform to spew hate.
Also calling Lena a "co-pilot"??? Sorry, but she's the kind of woman who'd build her own air fleet and fly them all at the same time on her own!
Supergirl: American Alien (2018)
Almost perfect...almost
Could've been a 10/10 if not for the forced Lena/James romance. I hated it last season and still hate it. They have no chemistry, James never really liked/trusted her until he suddenly wanted to bone, and Lena honestly looks uncomfortable when they're together. I feel like they put James with her because they didn't know what else to do with his character. I wish they'd both be single, he could focus on being a hero at Catco while Lena's "I don't need a man" attitude from 2x18 could stay genuine.
