This chapter da bomb. It's flawless. There's a bear. And Randi Oaks. There's father-daughter discombobulation :-D Sex bomb desexualizes herself, and dreads :-D.

Smithers alone is 40 Stars. Skip book club. Watch this!

Ridiculous Plots & Cruise Theme
stephcsz9 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This has to be one of the worst episodes in the series. All three plot lines are intertwined in an overarching Carnival-themed cruise.

I can't imagine being stuck on a ship with this childish carnival theme.

The biggest problem is that two of the plot lines require the viewer to believe that the passengers are so stupid they cannot tell the difference between a live, black bear, and a man in a bear costume; or that a husband wouldn't recognize his wife without any makeup.

Don't get me started on the awkward deadbeat daddy vs long lost daughter relationship.

Waste of popular 80's actors Michale Lembeck, Randi Oakes, and Jan Smithers.

Da Bears
WalterKafka17 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
'I thought we got married to do it.' It's a Carnival Cruise. Frankly, if I'm going to take a cruise, spending all that money, I'd rather not be bothered by annoying clowns. It turns out that the 'King of Carnivals' is an old friend of Captain Stubing. Jan Smithers is a photographer, assigned to the cruise. Who is she really? (You'll never guess.) Crystal Bernard is a newlywed. Her husband is all over her. She's nervous. Julie tries to comfort her. After all, Julie has had a thousand honeymoons. Uh, the problem turns out to be something else. Michael Lembeck is in charge of the bear act. He and his partner immediately fall for Randi Oakes. They also have the act to think about. It turns out that the bear can't be trained, so one of them will do the act in a bear suit! Wacky! Crystal's hair is ridiculous. I always liked her on Wings. Never marry a man who wears red trousers at sea. 'Holy Jamolie. The bear escaped.' This is super silly, which is how I prefer my 'Boat.' On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 * out of a possible 4 *.
