Warning: Spoilers
Something must have gone very wrong with the story of this episode. In the final scenes there seems to be a dead body on the terrace, but it is unclear who it is. And who is the killer of two prior victims? A name is mentioned, but who is it? Either the story by Mathias Seelig is illogical or the director Mr. Tragser decided to cut out crucial scenes. In any case, the viewer is left pretty clueless. It is very similar to reading a mystery novel and finding in the end that someone has torn out the final chapter. Previous episodes of the Tatort from Muenster were carried by the interesting personalities of pathologist Boerne and his assistant "Alberich", who were mostly instrumental to the solution of the mystery. In this episode Professor Boerne clowns around with the heating and his assistant is almost non-present. Haupkommissar Thiel and his bizarre father stumble clueless through the plot. (This might be realistic in the context of true life, but is not very exiting). I believe that the producer should revert to the writers and directors of the earlier episodes, which were interesting, amusing and, above all, logical.
