Strange episode but I enjoyed it
tampaaries3 October 2021
While this episode is well off subject of what baywatch is about, I still liked it and thought the Gilligan's island reenactment was pretty funny, all the negative views is from a bunch of pricks that take everything in life seriously, learn to laugh and have fun every now and then.

Baywatch episode: Just Sit Right Back & You'll Hear a Tale
joandra_vandowall-120 December 2006
This episode is not on the season 2 DVD. I've been wanting for this episode and as soon as this was released, I immediately looked at the backing to read all the episodes, but instead of "Just Sit Right Back & You'll Hear a Tale" for the 16th episode, it reads "Steakout At Surfrider Beach. So, whoever sent in the episode as being for season 2 and episode 16, it isn't so. I'm disappointed to not find the episode I spent my money to get. I read the episode list, while I was at the store, where I purchased it, and thought, 'well, maybe, it's under another title.' I had to be able to open the box first to read the synopsis in order to know what the episode is about. No match. It's still a good show, nonetheless, but I would like to be able to get the episode I believed to be in season 2.

Worst yet

As I've been rewatching the series, this is the worst episode I've seen so far. To the point that I skipped the last 15 minutes.

Brings "it was all a dream" into the worst ever category of all Baywatch time

This Episode Really Sinks
TheFearmakers7 February 2019
How this episode got almost a six rating is beyond me. Although it is so bad it's... not good but fun... not funny.... As Eddie, obsessed with the TV series that the director's father created, has a dream that he meets the real Gilligan and Mary Anne on an island he's quickly shipwrecked on with Erica E... The hilarious thing is how the sexy young bodyguard gets jealous of her young boyfriend flirting with a 60 year old Dawn Welles... It's not so bad seeing Bob Denver and Welles reprising their roles but Gregory Alan Williams playing Skipper to Billy Warlock's Gilligan while Monte Markem does a Thurston Howell imitation is beyond belief.

Unwatchable

Dreadful, unwatchable, dire, appalling, I skipped most of it. Some "beloved" vintage things should just stay in the past.

Brilliant

Enchanting transformation. Stunning performances by all. One of the few Baywatch episodes to actually be well-written.

Worth your time. Watch for sure.

C'mon, bob denver was a total putz and ruined every show he was in..this episode was a flat out writer mess to ruin an otherwise floating show ... anyone that liked gilligans island was either paid or dumber than dirt under a tomato plant

Baywatch!

Warning: Spoilers
Unbearable. The show's already stupid, it can't intentionally be. Couldn't sit through this one.
