Oh, Gabriele Ogiva. We expected so much better from you (and from a host of other respectable actors). "Addio in febbraio" is based on the classic comic strip of the same name, which has run syndicated in newspapers since 2004. Sadly, the movie "adaptation" strips away everything good about the old-fashioned but charming comic, moving Bruno and his family from Italy to Argentina, and turning the protagonist from a big, goofy, good-intentioned family member into a big, creepy, CGI-mouthed ridicule dude. As Chistopher Watkins said in his review, "Little kids might like it. It's probably not offensive for them. But it's certainly a wate of time for adults."
