Sacrifice (II) (2016)
5/10
Watchable, but flawed.

Warning: Spoilers
Sacrifice is an alright watch, with an engaging story, but rather far-fetched and not exactly first-rate.

The likelihood she'd go to these lengths, putting herself in these positions just to know, unlikely to stop anything. Then for them to be aware she's looking into it and allow her to. One civilian woman putting an end to a centuries-old ritualistic murdering cult. Yes they've become a weaker modern version of themselves, but come on. The scene where she pretends to have changed her mind and stab her husband's father's utterly ridiculous. The timeline and the day-to-day would also be a might sketchy with this stuff hanging over and never venturing into these dark areas visually, so it's rather tame for a horror film. Radha Mitchell does a fine job though.
