Just As Amazing As The Psycho Series!
7 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First and foremost, everyone involved in this project did a phenomenal job! This series was just a tad bit better than the classic 'Psycho Series'! Issac Kalder (played by Jesse Ridgeway) is a character that the majority of people can relate to! We embark on his journey; whether it's pain and sadness from losing his sister, or joy when he played 'MVE'. Issac's father Joseph Kalder (played by his real-life father, Jeff Ridgeway Sr.), and Mary (played by his real-life mom, Terry Ridgeway) also have very relatable characters! Joseph is a hard-working man, who tried to make sure Issac's future isn't screwed up by smoking joints and doing drugs. Mary, is dating Joseph (essentially making her the Step-Mom). Her and Issac don't get along at first. That's what makes her jealous. She wants to feel like a family;Issac didn't want her to join the family! All the characters in 'MVE' all had individual personalities! Malachi (played by Jesse Castillo), is a young just like Issac, but hates Issac! Almost every encounter with the two ends up being a bloody mess. In my opinion, I think Malachi was just jealous of Issac. Then came Michael Archer (played by his real-life brother, Jeff Ridgeway Jr.); this character looked out after Issac! He kinda helped Issac cheat the game. Within the middle of the show, you start seeing Issac's vulnerable side. He finally puts all the drama to rest with Mary as she slowly dies from her illness. They smoked a joint and made jokes (forgave eachother); before her death. He was also in a very sticky situation when an old lady, Martha Kalder (played by Jesse's Aunt Jackie) wanted her life to end; therefore, she wanted Issac to make her overdose. Both moments were extreme tear-jerking moments! Arachnid/ and Sexy Mobster John were the main Villian. Sexy Mobster John, (played by John Hagerty), was originally a servant to Soloman; however, Soloman left... which meant John would take over the "Brotherhood". The Brotherhood consisted approximately 11 members). In the end, they all betray John, and the dumbest one, Gingie (played by Jeff Saxton) tied him up to a tree). Arachnid, is someone that doesn't joke around... he will shoot and kill anyone who he deems as a threat. We go on a long journey as him and Issac go from hating each other, to be the two remaining survivors of the game. Along the way, they meet a girl, named Rebekah (played by Kandis Orth) with blue hair; some may describe her as a rebel. Issac and Rebekah fall in love! Unfortunately, she is shot to death by the returning Soloman, but then he dies, and Issac kills John in a gruesome fight, as well. In the end, there is a major twist. Joseph and Arachnid use to be best friends, and they created 'MVE'! Arachnid was so consumed into making the game, that he didn't pay attention to Joseph's daughter (Issac's sister) falling out of a window. In the jaw-dropping final battle, The Servant (Joseph) was trying to protect his son! Arachnid killed The Servant, and Issac shot Arachnid in the head... so did he win the game? Yes! But in a shocking turn of events Issac and Malachi were just playing 'MVE' together in real-life; meaning it was all fake, no one actually died. They all ended as one happy family. Instant 10/10.
