Warning: Spoilers
In City of... Angel encounters a stranger who experiences visions of those in need and tips Angel about a woman who lives in fear of a vampire.

I watched this off the back of Buffy season three, perhaps for the first time and it didn't match that level at times. It's strong up until the party, then it's shaky in parts. The series goes on to be one of the best of all-time, with perhaps the greatest lead character and character portrayal on screen. I don't see why they didn't keep the vampire look from Buffy, looks pretty bad here, they revert back. A quality theme song by Darling Violetta, matching the tone of the show. Doyle's likable right away. Tracy Middendorf's excellent in her one time appearance, it's just that the plot and villain Russell aren't exactly memorable. Also, not exactly a great challenge for Angel, even though Tina's killed. Cordy hasn't transitioned to her more mature role here yet, but damn Charisma Carpenter's alluring in that apartment scene.
