How to Stage a Coup (2017 TV Movie)
5/10
Very Interesting title...and that's it.

The premise of this documentary is very fascinating and is probably a question in all our historical minds; how to stage a coup, i got very excited and imagined seeing the details of how someone would take power, bribe guards to imprison the leader, having secret supporters rising to help...etc. But unfortunately it doesn't even answer its own question, they say Caesar staged a coup, then said he was charismatic, smart and had a good military record, and that's how he did it. Just like that for every single one. Its very uninteresting and quite boring seeing that all of this information was known before. They also added the Lenin takeover as a coup, which was weird, and they summed up Hitler's and Napoleon's failures as ignoring the rule number 1 in warfare: never march on moscow, at that moment i felt as though these historians were a bunch of idiotic kids, it was quite stupid really. So to sum up, it was uninteresting, boring and stupid, it lacked focus and the historians made some really stupid and outrageous remarks, they even contradicted each other once. Very badly made.
