I give this episode a 3 due to it having The Flash in it.
I understand that this show, just as The Arrow, have limited funding, is a TV show, and is produced at breakneck speed by a gang of enthusiasts severely controlled by a bunch of execs, but even under such circumstances it is actually possible to create something approaching watchable.
This episode was cringe worthy. I usually bury my face in a pillow as soon as 'feelings' are mentioned in this series. In this ep. it came up a lot of times - 'Oh, I confessed my feelings...' 'You should talk about your feelings for her...' 'Oh, crash and burn when I explained my feelings...' I mean, who talks like this? Nobody! Interspersed between the feelings-drivel we get some of the worst 'tension-building' with a laughable fight between The Flash and a couple of idiotically written bad guys, surrounded by even more stupid policemen bearing shields and unused guns that could end the fight in 2 seconds.
I seriously hope the series will improve. I want super-speed, heavy hitting bad guys and cool crimes in need of a stopping. I want marvellous science. What I don't want is an endless teen-angsty pusflood of feelings.
