Movies From The Last 100 Years That I Would Watch Again (1919-2020)

by cesser00 | created - 05 Aug 2020 | updated - 19 hours ago | Public

I have watched an absolute SHITLOAD of movies the past 5 years or so - well over a thousand of them - ranging all the way from the silent era to today. I have scraped the bottom of the barrel using IMDB's advanced search in order to find all of these movies to watch - popular ones, diamonds in the rough, foreign films, etc, etc, etc.

This list is comprised of all of the movies that I have watched and enjoyed enough to keep copies of them on my home theater server to possibly watch again.

There were of course movies that I watched and liked enough to watch once, but never again. And further still, there were many more films that I attempted to watch over that time, but didn't finish because they didn't hold my interest or I realized they weren't my cup of tea.

I will say that I tend to lean more heavily towards the drama side of things and not so much comedy. With rare exceptions, I especially do not care for comedies of the 1930s to 1960s, as I almost never find them funny.

If a movie ain't listed here, most likely means I either haven't seen it, or didn't enjoy it enough to hang onto a copy of it.
