While I know Netflix Originals are a mixed bag in general, There are some I viewed and enjoyed. Basically, this list consists of original series & other programs that are only viewable through Netflix in the U.S. and never had ever been aired in theaters or broadcasted here. There will be listing of programs I'm planning to stream here too, for now.

Votes: 139,812

I am not a major superhero fanatic, so I watched this with not much expectation. Surprisingly, I love this piece, sure the story is kind of slow but I felt it helped build up to the action scenes. Sad to see this is cancelled.

2. Medici (2016–2019)

A political family drama set in Florence in the early fifteenth century. Cosimo de Medici finds himself at the helm of his banking dynasty when his father, Giovanni, dies suddenly.

Stars: Daniel Sharman, Alessandra Mastronardi, Synnove Karlsen, Sebastian De Souza

Votes: 22,303

Being into period dramas, this was a very entertaining piece to sit through. There are many flashbacks, twists, and drama that I'm sure is not all-the-way accurate. Still worth a sit-through, happy to see a 2nd season

TV-14 | 22 min | Comedy

The misadventures of a Korean-Canadian family running a convenience store.

Stars: Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, Andrea Bang, Simu Liu

Votes: 24,227

In a way this is like a Canadian version of Fresh Off The Boat, sort of. I found this very refreshing and had binged the whole two seasons. Glad to see this is getting renewed for 2 more!

Votes: 3,767

This was a surprisingly decent magic show. I enjoyed how he does his tricks and how he performs them so quickly out in public some of them. Magic tricks always amazed me.

Documentary, Crime, History

The history of various thefts of art and efforts to recover them.

Stars: Calandra Caldecott, Charles Darwent, Martin Bailey, Jonathan Kydd

Votes: 191

As an art lover, I was addicted to this documentary series about famous painters & their paintings. Love the reenactment of the creators and the backstories that took decades to reveal each work's creation and life after the artist's death. I hope a new season would come again for this!

6. The Magic School Bus Rides Again (2017–2021)

TV-Y | 26 min | Animation, Adventure, Family

Ms. Frizzle and her class along with an inventive high-tech bus that invites children on high-flying hijinks that introduce the incredible world of science.

Stars: Gabby Clarke, Birva Pandya, Kate McKinnon, Leke Maceda-Rustecki

Votes: 933

This is not as bad as I expected, it has the essence of the original series. My only bugs with this series is how cheap the animation style is and the acting comes off a bit lackluster.

Director: Dan Gilroy | Stars: Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, Zawe Ashton, Tom Sturridge

Votes: 66,071

Jake Gyllenhaal was okay in the film, but for a "horror" film, it took so long to get to the killings of all the unlikeable cast

TV-PG | 42 min | Documentary, Fantasy

This documentary series tells the stories that have gripped imaginations for centuries and reveals the fascinating and unexpected history behind them.

Stars: Nicholas Day, Diane Purkiss, Liz Gloyn, Juliette Wood

Votes: 938

Folkore & legends are interesting story topics. This series goes into how and why these stories are created. And introduce some lesser known ones at the same time. Feels like something that would come up on a PBS late at night
