The Wayne Brady Show (2001–2002)
Wayne stays talented
31 March 2005
I have not seen the Wayne Brady Show enough to go into further details, but from the few episodes I saw, I'd say he is holding up nicely by himself. Wayne manages to carry on the same great humor from Whose Line? to his show which I really admire and love. Yet at the same time, Wayne still keeps things real between him, the guests, and the audience. I think it was good for Wayne to try to separate his fame rather from just being known from Whose Line, of which he succeeded. Despite what others say about him, I say he is a great host, great actor, and even greater improviser.

Go Wayne!

Green Screen Show (2004–2005)
Good Try Drew
31 March 2005
When I heard that they are coming out with another improv show involving the old cast of Whose Line? and more, I was so excited since Whose Line? was canceled at the time. Plus, the concept of the whole green screen idea sounded sweet. Then, I saw it. My first thought was, "Nice Try, Drew," The fact of the matter is that the Green Screen Show just wasn't the same as Whose Line?. The jokes weren't that funny, and, come on, Ryan wasn't even in every episode! I mean, Colin is great, but he's nothing without Ryan when it comes to improv. There were, however, some funny parts, but not enough to make up for it. Although I never realized it at the time, but the whole green screen took away the imaginary aspect that you used in Whose Line? Because you had to use your imagination in WL, it made it all the more funnier. Anyway, I admire Drew's creativity, but it just wasn't enough to please me.

Good Try Drew.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1998–2007)
The only show that truly makes me laugh
25 March 2005
I have been a fan of Whose Line? since forever, and I'm am so relieved that they are coming back for another season. I've always favored the Amercian version over the British version, only because it is more current and has more American humor. I do however miss some of the old pros like Mike Mcshayne and Tony Slattery. I'm torn between the hosts Drew Carey and Clive Anderson, but for now, I think Drew is holding up nicely. Anyway, Whose Line? is the only show that ever really made me cry from laughter. I love the colorful cast and the clever yet random humor. What I love most about it is the concept of a bunch of friends doing old fashion improv and having a good time just being dumb and random.

Whose Line is it Anyway? is totally worth watching for comedy lovers all around.

I am so disappointed...
25 March 2005
First of all, I was excited to finally being able to watch this movie. It looked funny enough, and it had two of my favorite comic actors: Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of Whose Line? fame. I thought them being so funny, it deserves a chance. After watching this crap film, I realized I wasted a good portion of my life (and my pay). All it basically was was Kim Little running around like an idiot while Colin and others watch. The movie itself was a cheap attempt to be a parody of itself and other shows. (sigh) I was disappointed but I don't blame Colin and Brad, I blame the talentless people who put it together.

A Dollar Store rent at best.

(Go Colin and Brad! ; )

Very funny movie
17 August 2004
I saw the screening of this movie and loved every second of it. This movie is perfect for those who want a good laugh. It's one of those movies that try to put in something funny between every scene. Seth, Mathew, and Dax, all did a good job in portraying their characters. One thing I thought was a downfall about the movie, was that it attempted some "cheap shots" to back up a joke, (meaning that they did something funny, and try to back it up with something else they think is funny, but isn't all that really) and that's about it. It's still a good movie with a good moral at the end and worth watching if you're over 13, due to drug use, language, and crude humor, and some violence. I give it a 8/10

The Village (2004)
Very good movie, twists at every turn of the movie
2 August 2004
I finally got to see the anticipated move "The Village". Being a fan of M. Night Shyamalan's previous movies, i expected to get the same feelings as i did to his movies prior to this: chilled, surprised, and thrilled. I did. Let me say, the trailers have nothing to do with the actual hidden plot of the movie. Every twisted detail will surprise you. Nothing is what you expect. Shyamalan is great in turning the movie around on the audience, as he always was. He also managed to sneak a hidden moral in it as he does in all his movies. To be totally honest, I was, at first, upset with the movie's ending half; meaning I left the theater saying,"What?" But as I look back on it, it sort of makes sense. It's a great movie and worth watching.

I give it a 8/10

Overall good movie, Liev Schreiber was brilliant as always
31 July 2004
To be totally honest, I really had no plan in watching this particular movie, it had no appeal to me at all, except the fact that Liev was in it. I just watched it in replacement of The Village, because it was sold out. Anyways, as i was watching it, I realized I underestimated this movie. It turned out better than i expected. the cast was great, everyone almost fit their part. Maryl Streep, was also great. For example, you see throughout the movie that she becomes more and more obsessed with her son (Liev) and his candidacy. You'll see both of them share an intimate, but strange part together later in the film, which they played off perfectly. The movie itself was mind bending, it forced the viewers to think in order to fully understand every small and important detail. It's very mind-twisting and though it had tiny flaws, it's overall a very good movie and totally worth seeing. I give it a 9/10.

!!!The funniest movie this year!!!
9 July 2004
Will Ferrell still aims to please (and still does) in this movie. I expected to laugh, and I realized I underestimated this movie. Will Ferrell was absolutely stunning and hilarious, just what you would expect from him. If you're looking for a good laugh, I recommend Anchorman:The Legend of Ron Burgundy all the way. Ferrell plays a San Fransisco news anchor in the 1970's, the time when only men delivered the news. He was named Ron Burgundy, who was loved by all. Thanks to his excellent talent of reading off the telepromtor, he once again made his news channel #1 in the ratings, which leads to conflicts throughout the film. Ron later finds himself having to share the spotlight with his co-anchor Veronica Corningstone, which, as you can also guess, leads to more conflict as the battle of the sexes. Ferrell is teamed up with a colorful cast which brings more to the story. I give this movie a 9/10, but i give Ferrell a perfect 10/10. This movie is totally worth watching, if you're over 13.
