American Horror Story (2011– )

AHS Is No Longer About The Supernatural

Season 11 of AHS NYC is awful and boring. It is about a killer and the AIDS epidemic in the 80's. The first Season of American Horror Story about ghosts was great. My favorite seasons were 3 & 6, Coven & Roanoke. Season 1, Murder House was interesting.

American Horry Story went downhill and the NYC season is horrible and not dealing with supernatural, ghosts, witches, Demons. The actors in Season 11 are unknown and boring. Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters, Leslie Jordan, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, were my favorites.

I no longer recognize American Horror Story because it is now horrible.

Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont (2005)

This Movie Is For The Young and Old to See

I came across this British movie surfing Amazon Primes movies. As an American, I love British movies. As a senior citizen living alone with no children or friends, Mrs. Palfrey at Claremont touched my heart with sadness and happiness. Her grandson and daughter's behavior is typical of children and grandchildren by spending time with their elderly parents and grandparents.

Mrs. Palfrey befriend a young 26 year old handsome young man after she trips and falls on the sidewalk in front of her flat. He helps her up off the sidewalk bring her into his flat to clean her bruised knee offering her tea. The 2 becomes friends by pretending to be Grandmother and grandson to impress the other lonely elderly tenants at the Claremont who's relatives seem to have forgotten them.

I didn't like Mrs. Palfrey's real Grandson Desmond because he waited weeks to come visit his Grandmother after she called and left him a message inviting him to dinner with her at the Claremont.

Chef Julian (2015–2017)

None Of The Characters Were Likeable

I came across Chef Julian by accident on Tubi television. Courtney Burrell is nice eye candy but he is not a great actor. I was disappointed that this series didn't have any nudity and male frontal nudity because it's on a streaming site.

I didn't like the character. I didn't like the character Thalissa because the actress couldn't act. I didn't like the character Julian because he always seem to have a chip on his shoulders. I have almost finished watching Season 2 and I will watch Season 3 to see if it improves.

This series is suppose to take place in Los Angeles but it looks like its filmed in Atlanta. California has a license plate on the front of a car as well as the back. Many of the vehicles in this series didn't have a front California license plate.

A Journal for Jordan (2021)

This Movie Is Boring

I like Michael B. Jordan but this movie was very boring. His son in the movie didn't look like the father or the mother. He young boy was light skin with curly hair making one think, he is mixed raced. Both the parents are dark skinned. I fell asleep on this movie.

Why do the CW Network continue to produce these horrific series pandering to teens. This Charmed series is very woke with nothing but lesbian characters and now 2 of the Charmed sisters are lesbians. Are they suppose to be Afro Puerto Rican women or black women? This show should have been canceled a long time ago.

Tammy Is Mean and Disgusting

I started binge watching this series last month, February 2022. I was horrified seeing these obese women lacking decorum and etiquette. It's sad that the TLC Channel would put this type of foolishness on their network. They are no longer 'The Learning Channel', but the Trash Channel instead.

I cannot stand Tammy because she is a mean, surly, hateful, and a bully. When I saw how she acted during the family vacation in the mountains, she deserves all the bad Karma coming her way. Dr. Smith should have drop Tammy the same as Dr. Procter did. This series has shown poor white trash at its best.

Tyler Perry's A Madea Homecoming (2022)

The Storyline and Acting Was Subpar

I didn't expect too much from Tyler Perry regarding this movie. There were some funny scenes in this movie but the storyline went downhill for me when Davi turned out to be straight and not gay having an affair with Tim's mother.

Isha Blaaker acting skills as an heterosexual were very unbelievable in this movie. I preferred his character to be gay and in love with his roommate Tim.

This movie is ok to see if you're high or drunk.

Ray Donovan (2013–2020)

The Series Start Off Good And Went Downhill

Seasons 1 thru 4 were interesting until it got to Season 5. Season 5, Ray Donovan went downhill. I hated the characters Conor, Bridget, Mickey, and Daryll'

This series become like a Soap Opera and unbelievable. Only white privilege could get Ray and his family out of all those unbelievable situations. The half brother Daryll didn't look mix raced. He look like a full blood Black man with a black mother and father. Daryll was too needy wanting to be accepted by this white family. Whatever happened to the Conor? I hated his character and I wanted him to be killed along with his sister Bridget.

Disappointing and Boring Movie

I had high hopes at seeing this movie and it turned out to be very boring and uninteresting. I glad I have HBO-Max because I wouldn't want to pay to see this boring movie at the theater.

True Story (III) (2021)

This Series Is A Must To See

When I saw a commercial for 'True Story' featuring Wesley Snipes and Kevin Hart, it caught my attention. Watching the first episode kept my attention throughout the entirety of this series. However, I wished Netflix will do more movies oppose to 6 or 8 episode series. I was surprised at Kevin Hart's acting and I wasn't surprised by Wesley Snipes acting skill. Looking at at 59 year old Wesley, I see he's aged as we all do. However, when looking at Wesley Snipes, I still picture him as the character, Noxeema Jackson from the movie, 'To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar'. LOL.

First off, this series is too slow and the casting is awful. Please don't waste you time watching this boring crap. I tried watching this series and it is too slow and one of the worst series for the Fall season in 2021. Also, I am so sick of political correctness and be WOKE. There are too many non American actors in this horrific series.

FBI: International (2021– )

Don't Waste You Time Watching This Crap

The actors in this series are bad. The lead character is too cocky and young to head such a fictitious scene. To my knowledge the FBI cannot just go after criminals on their own in a foreign country without the assistance of the host country law enforcement. This series is unbelievable and I hope it gets cancelled.

I started watching this series because Zach Gilford is in it. He was in the Fox series, L. A.'s Finest. I think he is very sexy and attractive.

This Netflix series in blasphemous against against God. Comparing a Vampire to an Angel is ridiculous. As a Christian, I was upset to all the references to God and miracles surrounding a Demon creature or a Vampire.

The series was a hot mess and it was slow paced. The woman Bev should have been killed off in the beginning but they had portrayed as a Catholic person with a good soul.

If you are a Christian and believe in God, don't watch this crap because it's a hot mess.

I started watching this series because the Spanish actor Oscar Casas is in it. After watching 10 minutes of this boring series taking place in the 1960's, I turned my television off. Oscar Casas doesn't have a big character in this series and I don't like movies or series taking place in the place. I prefer to deal with modern times. Don't waste your time watching this garbage.

I came across this movie by accident and as an Afro Puerto Rican born in New York City (Manhattan), I really enjoyed this movie.

This movie reminds me of typical Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban New York City families.

I hate when society lumps all Latinos as one. Caribbean Latinos are totally different from Salvadorians, Mexicans, and other Central Americans.

The Dominican grandmother is funny and typical strict as many grandmothers.

Society continues lumping all Hispanic ethnic groups together. The only thing we have in common is the Spanish language, and sometimes that's different.

Black Gay Men Are Always Portrayed As Feminine In Movies or Series

I was disappointed to see another black gay male character (Eric) portrayed as feminine. However, I find the interracial gay couple Eric and Adam to be the most interesting. When I think of my days in high school, I nor my fellow high school classmates conducted ourselves as sex maniacs. Overall I found the series (Sex Education) to be boring and unrealistic.

Please don't waste your time watching this garbage. Many of the same actors in this movie are in the movie, Bad Witch. Sue Schaffel is a horrible and unattractive actress. Her character in this movie appeared to look older enough to be her younger sister's mother.

Chris Kozlowski looks so much like the actor, Jai Courtney. I think Chris might become a well known actor some day. Because of his good looks with beautiful blue eyes, I will give the move a 6. The movie was filmed in Maryland. The acting wasn't that great and males that practice witchcraft are called Warlocks, not witches. If you ever watched the 60's sitcom, Bewitched', the term witches and warlocks are used frequently. I didn't like the ending to this movie. I wanted Roland and Xander to make up and become friends again without Roland's death.

I watched the 'Titans' last year on HBO-Max because I didn't watch this series on the CW Channel. In the beginning, the 'Titans' was an interesting series. Then it became boring. I had no idea there would be a season 3 after I saw Season 2 end last year watching it on HBO-Max. I found out today, there is a season 3 of the 'Titans'. I hope it will be better than season 2.

I enjoy this suspenseful movie and the ending was somewhat surprising. Sometimes vengeance is mine saith the lord. If you like suspenseful movies and thrillers, I suggest that you watch 'Bloodline'.

Absentia (2017–2020)

Sofia, Bulgaria Looks Nothing Like Boston, Massachusetts

Please don't waste your time watching this boring and cheap looking series. The actors are unbelievable as U. S. citizens.

Episode 1 was interesting about an FBI agent gone missing for 6 years years. Her husband too is an FBI agent but he remarried thinking his first wife was dead having a son with his first wife. What threw me off, the series is supposed to be filmed in Boston, Massachusetts. I kept looking at the scenery, streets, buildings, landscape, houses, and apartments and they didn't look like the city of Boston nor in the United States. Looking at the appliances in the kitchen and how an apartment looked inside, it appeared to be in Europe somewhere. Absentia is filmed in Sofia, Bulgaria and most of the actors playing Boston police officers and FBI agents are actors from around the world, not U. S. born citizens. One Boston police officer is white and from Montevideo, Uruguay. Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina are the whitest South American counties.

Racism In Colombia, South America

As an Afro Puerto Rican, I cannot watch these type of series about racism in Spanish speaking countries because Afro Latinos continue struggle daily dealing with systemic racism in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
