A man gets off a boat, walks into a restaurant, orders albatross soup, has one spoonful, then shoots himself. Apparently this is a popular riddle played by only getting yes and no answers to questions; I'd not heard it so am not sure if the teller puts a different solution on it each time, or if it always has to be the same - if it only has one solution then maybe this film will have not quite the appeal to those that know it already. For me though I enjoyed the players who were recorded guessing, because it told a story in reverse in a way that had energy and oddity to it.
The animation adds to this with fast moving images in bold colours. The images allow for the film to jump around in the various guesses, flowing into one another in a way that feeds and feeds off the recorded people's energy. It is a curio of a short, but I enjoyed it for the game and the way it is played with the images.
