The new assistant to mom is a mastermind with plans of her own, not to mention a physical monster. She's basically the Evil/Anti-Harriet Tubman who's keeping the slaves from escaping which makes it even more scary. Almost like Stephen from Django. This show's writing is amazing especially with the introduction of a "spy". The dialogue and strategy between the kids is great, and we see a gaggle of demons.

This show is getting worse by the episode. I say this as a pompous film student: is nothing told visually??? Literally every little thing is explained. So much talking. When the new assistant was talking to herself about her evil master plan, it really felt like a kids' show. Why is there so much talking??? It's gonna be a real slog finishing this
