It's not the first time we've seen an episode in a police procedural where the infant son or daughter of a politician has been kidnapped and held for ransom, but as far as these bread-and-butter episodes go, FBI's attempt at it - "Family Man" - was well done. If, at times, quite depressing.
As a rule of thumb in these episodes, any charismatic politician who has risen quickly from humble beginnings and says they are squeaky clean, generally are the exact opposite. And, as happened here, the cops always find out eventually. (Maybe I've watched too many of these shows??)
"Family Man" threw up a few surprises along the way. I must admit I wasn't sure who the bad guy(s) was until halfway through the episode.
