Seriously?!
hmvb-9333830 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Finally Jane does the right thing and sees Her life for the perfection it is. Then it ends with him getting his memories back. BARF! What a waste of a last season. So over the Michael vs Raf thing, especially since he's what's best for her. So disgusted if she starts being confused and hurting Raf!!!!

A Rollercoaster of Emotions

Warning: Spoilers
OMFG THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED HOW EFFING DARE YOU DO THIS WRITERS CAN'T RAFAEL BE HAPPY FOR ONCE???!!!!???

In all seriousness, this is the strongest episode of the season so far. We all knew Michael's memory was going to return sooner or later, I just didn't expect it to be on the 3RD EPISODE OF THE SEASON.

I have been team Jafael pretty much since the beginning of the show, but seeing that moment when MichaelJason became Michael once more...I cried. Like, legitimate tears.

I'm sorry Jafael shippers, but if Micheal got his memory back this early in the season, It's highly likely that Jane and Michael will get back together, but that doesn't mean they will stay together by the seasons end. I mean, the writers would have to be pretty devious people by having Rafael cry over losing Jane, and then actually losing her...but that's a telenovela for you.

Other highlights for this episode...Mateo seeing MichaelJason and freaking out, absolutely adorable; Jason and Rafael having that imaginary kiddie fight was downright hilarious! you could tell Justin Baldoni and Brett Dier were having tonnes of fun in that scene; The sneaky trump and immigration scene was pretty funny, but I actually can't believe they got away with doing that; Rogelio demanding equal pay was TV gold, especially considering women were always paid less than men in society, and now it is the other way round. And lets not forget that tear jerking scene where Jane asks Rafael about having more kids, and planning their future, just for Michael to get his memories back and basically crush those dreams into dust...or ceiling plaster.

Soooo.......yeah. I'm going to need therapy after that episode.Just like everyone else I'm sure. To conclude, this episode, despite being heart-wrenching, was beautifully written, and really feels like a telenovela.

Ugh- politics!
Nac8918 September 2022
It's hard to get through this season, and to make it worse- they throw in Trump. The whole scene with Rogelio was unnecessary. I watch Jane The Virgin to escape all that political garbage.

The whole Michael "back from the dead" is also unwatchable. This was a bad attempt to bring him back for the last season. Jason is a very unlikable character.

The saving grace of the episode was Jane finally disciplining Matteo. Who would have thought that Petra's children would be better behaved- maybe bc they are basically neglected by both parents.

All and All- Jane the Virgin was a good show that should have ended in season four.
