Better read the book

The content of this movie has hardly anything in common with the great novel by J. J. Bannalec and it is utterly incorrect concerning the locations in France. There is no suspense at all. Even the few action scenes in the book were left out in the movie. Which makes no sense at all. And they managed to ruin the running gag of the strange note book the inspector is using in the book. Half of the roles are missing in comparison to the book, like the mystic story tellers and even the second assistant (Riwal) of the inspector.
