Beautiful places and nice encounters.

I enjoyed very much this journey through Galicia: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of Galicia: the Way of St. James (Paul and Huguette,-the French pìlgrims ejoying their walk, the Cafe Bar Posada del Camino at Portomarin-Augustin Ares-, the father José Quintela telling the revival of the village of O Cebreiro), the maritime archaeology in Galicia (David and his colleague Ignacio-the archaeologist, the maritime disasters and many shipwrecks, the diving and exploring of a French fregate, the museum of Vigo), the Celtic culture (the sounds of the gaitas, Alvaro Seivane-the gaita maker-), the wild horses of Galicia (the "Rapa des Bestas" , Moises and Adrian, the horse breeders, the catching and marking of the foals), the squid fishing and eating (Eusebio-the squid fisherman-, about 500 boats fishing squids in Galicia, Maria Isaura-the squid cook-, the vilage of A Pecoxa and the selling of squid meat) and the stonecitters in Galicia (Juan José restoring a traditional granary called hórreo, Neil Christie and the restoration of the houses f an abandoned village and the school for stonecutters in Pontevedra.

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Sebastian Fernandez Tapia-the misic professor and president of the Tuna de Derecho-), with Léa Darnault in La Coruna (the walk through the town, the Tower of Hercules and the celebration of St. John's Day on the beach), with Pablo Carballido, the director of the juvenile choir, with Victoria Ouvina-the "mariscadora" in Cambados, with Luisa Rubines Alvarez in Chantada (the vineyard, the wine tasting, the waterfall) with Dolores Diaz, the farmer in San Roque (the harvest of potatoes, the tortilla with eggs and potatoes) and with Marta Iglesais in the Island of Arousa, nice encounters with very kind Galician men and women.
