I can not contain my excitement, I wanna watch season 6 NOW. this finale is amazing, this season is amazing. Every character brilliantly explored. Kim is dirty, she had to take a shower. I almost feel sympathetic for Lalo. Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan ladies and gentleman. perfect season. perfect season finale.

Get ready for Lalo's thunder!
onionopinion25 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It's all good man! Season 5 was magnificient and ended with an awesome episode. And I can't wait to see Season 6! As we come closer to BrBa timeline, the tension excalates. My sincere thanks to everyone who worked in this show, writers, producers, actors and the entire crew. They do a great job.

I have high expectations from S6 and there are many questions waiting to be answered:

*What will happen to Nacho and his father? *When will Tuco be back? *Will Lalo die? * What will Jimmy and Kim do? *Will Kim survive?

In BrBaS04E10 "Salud" episode, Gustavo Fringe visits Hector Salamanca after he takes down Don Eladio and tells Hector that his grandson Joaquin, his only family alive, is now dead. Killed by Jesse Pinkman. According to this, Lalo must have been dead. But... is he? Is there any chance he went rogue and operating clandestine under Gustavo's nose? Is that the reason Jimmy is so scared after he started a new life in Nebraska , shown to us in black and white at the beginning of every BCS season?

LALO SALAMANCA is a perfect BrBa-BCS character for his complexity. And Tony Dalton is delivering brilliant performances.

First time we heard about Lalo when Saul Goodman was introduced to us in BrBaS02E12 and later in the episode, he was brought to the desert by Jesse and Walter to be executed. He asks them in fear: "Did Lalo send you?" We never see Lalo in BrBa or hear about him again. Until, the producers cleverly introduce him in BSC in S04E08 "Coushatta".

Lalo carries a big smile to camouflage his intentions. He is even likable to some degree. Smart, observative, suspicious like his uncle Hector, but more reasonable. He is as dangerous as Salamanca Twins and Tuco but more in control. With this episode we learned that he doesn't sleep much, he is a nocturnal person, he prefers to think late at nights and get his best ideas when everybody's at sleep. He is loyal to his family. He holds a grudge -after all he's a Salamanca- and naturally, and obviously, he had an escape plan. No wonder he had a tunnel built under his bathroom! And perhaps Gustavo and Nacho underestimated his wicked intelligence.

The way he stared at Bolsa when he said "I understand it was expensive for you to get out", Lalo is maybe aware of Bolsa's affiliation with Gustavo. We know that Bolsa dies in BrBa S03E08 "I See You" as Gustavo planned it. Everyone would assume Lalo is dead. Lalo will probably take advantage of this situation.

Will Lalo learn from Jimmy that he was attacked on his way to bring his bail money in Bagman episode? Will he also learn that Bolsa has planned it? He might even be behind Bolsa's execution in BrBa S03E08. Somewhat asisting Federales. Just a theory.

Lalo knows Nacho's betrayal now. Will he also find out that he is responsible for Hector Salamanca's condition?

NACHO is street-smart. He just wants to get out of the picture with his dad. But he tells Don Eladio that he wants: Respect. To make his own decisions. Go his own way. He doesn't want anyone to even think of playing him. He doesn't want to be looking over his shoulder. But now Nacho from halfway being Salamanca to being a traitor, will be on the run to oblivion. Nacho's mistake was assuming it would be easy to take down Lalo Salamanca. But he was wrong. And perhaps he took the Bad Choice Road.

DON ELADIO: In this episode there were so many foreshadows and references to BrBa S04E10 "Salud" when Don Eladio's mansion with the swimming pool and his famous necklace appears. And each time he said "bikers" and "businessman". He even raised his glass with Nacho and said "salud!"

In this episode there is a Scarface reference, again, and it's funny to see because Mark Margolis who plays Hector Salamanca and Steven Bauer who plays Don Eladio both had played in Scarface. Fortunately Saul doesn't reference to Fargo or Little Women!

Lalo bribed Don Eladio with a Ferrari and a "frunk" full of cash. We know how Don Eladio's weakness to "regalos" would affect on him as we saw in BrBa Salud episode. This "suavita" gesture of Lalo gave Bolsa chills. Seems like Lalo and Bolsa's tension will rise.

KIM WEXLER: Finally we saw Kim breaking bad. Deep down, she is a good person, she has a good character. She is fair and just. But she wants to punish Howard's vanity. And people like Kevin. We know from BrBa that Messe Verde name only exists as Messa Credit Union. We saw Walter White going there many times. Messa Verde changing its name might have something to do with Kim's involvement. She might find valuable information from the office she entered with his colleague Grant, where she'll deal pro bono cases.

S06 epectations: We might see new characters. My guess would be: Bolsa's brother, who is a police chief, he mentioned it to Gustavo in BrBa S03E08 "I see you". We might meet Joaquin Salamanca. Hector Salamanca's grandson, whom killed by Jesse Pinkman in BrBa S04E10 "Salud". Nacho wanted to deal with "bikers", maybe we can see Todd and his uncle's gang. The flashback we saw about Kim and her mom in Nebraska might have something to do with Jimmy's escape to Nebraska. And some more surprises perhaps. It would be exciting to see some more flashbacks like, Gustavo Fringe on his early days in Chile. With Max and his German buddy Peter. And why, in the first place, Gustavo needed to go to Don Eladio with Max. If there is any chance writers/producers are reading this comment, consider it a fan request!

Brilliant end to a near perfect season
daltonetzel21 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Aaaaaand exhale. Peter Gould, what a job. Right when you want to breathe for the first time in 3 episodes, thinking Lalo will be dealt with, Nacho might get out of this alive, and Jimmy and Kim are going to be safe from the Salamancas, Lalo goes crazy and takes out Gus' "best guys" (but Mike is in ABQ STILL? Not his best best guys) and now knows Nacho is a middle man to rout information about Lalos business to Fring. Cannot wait for S6 to see Lalo track Nacho down. Then, Hamlin gets told by Kim, and now Kim is turning to the dark side even more, and faster than Jimmy is turning into Saul. So much to look forward to in S6. 13 episodes left, can't wait!

Nacho is Judas with Louis XIII
greggwager14 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Who suspects "Something Unforgiveable" as the third part of a trilogy with "Something Beautiful" (season 4, episode 3) and "Something Stupid" (season 4, episode 7)? Peter Gould directs and co-writes this one.

Kim wants nothing but pro bono work. She rests assured Lalo is now dead, little suspecting he isn't.

One moment Lalo imbibes Louis XIII cognac to seal Nacho's promotion. The next he seethes with anger, looking for Nacho his Judas. He should never have served the Louis XIII in a decanter (the crystal bottle it comes in is worth $200).

Saul lives with dissociative identity disorder. He wonders aloud if his bowling-ball-chucking Mr. Hyde isn't bad for Kim.

The Sandpiper case could hurry along by ruining Howard's career. It could net Saul $2 million.

Perhaps the two finger pistols Kim fires at the end represent the split personality she develops loving both Jimmy and Saul. Saul sees it and smiles for his partner in crime, but then what's left of soft-hearted Jimmy is bothered by the way he is dragging someone he loves into the filthy streets.

Try to keep one step ahead of these writers. Television psychodrama never had it so good.

Why is Lalo so likeable?!
maxglen21 April 2020
Fantastic finale. Perfectly sets up season 6 to be a tense and action packed final outing. There wasn't really a bad scene throughout the episode, although there were definitely some standouts (you know the ones) Lalo might be one of if not THE most likeable Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul villain there is, he's got such an aura surrounding him. I'm gonna give Something Unforgivable a 9.6 to a 9.7 out of 10. Can't wait to see what happens next! I'm gonna miss this show.

The man, The Myth, The Legend
planco2121 April 2020
An ending that describes the greatness of Eduardo ( Lalo ) it's all about him since he showed up in season four, Every time he comes to the screen i saw a ( Legend ) that's the best word that describes him

I cannot mention all the greatest characters i have ever saw in series or movies and do not mention Tony dalton in BCS. His face, His eyes, His personality, Everything is so special, He is one of the best character ever with Jimmy and the big love, Kim ( by the way she reminds me always of Ingrid Thulin )

There's no show makes you hold your breath like BCS, I can't stop thinking about what will happen for another year.. And apparently it's gonna be a long year

Something unforgivable are people Rating this any lower

Like I said in my Magic Man Review, JUST LIKE BREAKING BAD, the seasons get better and better than the last, I mean What a season, from beginning to end, the season has literally snapped out to become the greatest season of BCS. Now EVERYONE is really misrepresenting the point of this episode. KIM IS CHANGED, LALO KNOWS, THAT ALONE is a HUGE game changer for the show, this is the end of this season period, Everyone wanted characters to meet their demise this season because they thought it would fit this season, but I mean cmon, this is probably much worse than any character meeting their demise, the episode does more than it should have done, with that aside, This is the Godfather Part 2 of Breaking Bad... which is The Godfather of TV shows... and of course there's El Camino, which is The Godfather part 3(I like el Camino and The Godfather part 3) ANYWAYS THATS BESIDES THE POINT, Now as I've told people in my Magic Man review, this show literally gets better as it goes on just as breaking bad did. Why and how? Well it rips pages STRAIGHT off of breaking bad that works, learns from the previous errors of writing and improves upon it with this show. Thus creating probably one of the most BEAUTIFULLY written shows of all time. Now this episode, don't be fooled with what lies ahead. It's like this episode answers everything you didn't think would be possible, using characters you know will survive but still somehow manages to keep you frightened on the future of what the show will turn out to be. Think of this as a combination of both Bagman AND Bad Choice Road. The bagman choosing to become the bagman, ending up on this "bad choice road" and this episode will equal the consequences ahead. EXCELLENT tension, directing and season. This episode will leave you questioning the future but in a GOOD WAY. People who think it's bad are just mad it didn't go the way they wanted it to go.

A Great Finale which will lead to a hopefully Perfect Season 6
EddyTheMartian00721 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I know a lot of people will be underwhelmed or disappointed by this episode. It is understandable considering it isn't as eventful as we were all hoping. And honestly I think it was the perfect way to go.

I think it would've been too predictable to Kill Nacho or break Kim and Jimmy up, but they gave us something I don't think anyone would've predicted, and has been slowly set up this season. Lalo has been an amazing villain, and he has been set up to seriously become ruthless next season. With no deaths Season 6 will continue to have crazy intensity with Kim and Nacho. Yes it is annoying we barely get closure and we're left of with a huge cliff hanger, but I think what they've set up is going to make for a season on par or maybe better than Breaking Bad's 5th season. An Unhinged Kim, An Unhinged Lalo, Nacho In peril, and a shocked Saul will leave us with what I hope will be one of the best seasons of TV ever.

This season was the best yet, while not reaching the heights of some of the best seasons of TV ever, it was still a brilliant season and by far the best. I think it is right there under Season 4 of Breaking Bad. We got amazing Kim development and she has become by far one of the best written female characters on TV. We got incredible development for Lalo, who seems he'll be one of the best villains on TV next season. Jimmy is edging closer and closer to Saul, but still very much Jimmy. Nacho has been put in a very interesting position. I don't know what else to say, I just loved this finale and season. I just can't wait for the next season. This definitely felt like a set up season, which is acceptable since the next season will be last, but it had enough plot development to work.

I did have a problem with this finale. While it was incredibly intense and exciting seeing Lalo fight off all those hitmen, I think the whole way it was done felt a bit too convenient. If I had to mention any problems I had with this season, I would say some development for Kim definitely feels odd. I mean it has definitely been set up and it feels reasonable, but it needs a bit more development. I trust the writers will develop her more in the final season to make more sense of this, probably reveal her past. I would've also loved to see some more Gus, my real only disappointment with this show currently is they haven't really been developing Gus as much. Especially this season Gus was surprisingly lacking. Perhaps they could've definitely concluded some more storylines this season, but I'm satisfied with that they did.

Now I do have a few concerns that Season 6 will feel rushed. We're still 4 years away from the Breaking Bad timeline and I don't know how much closer we're going to get. Plus they're gonna have to conclude the gene storyline. My only concern is that season 6 might feel too rushed, but I'll worry about that when the season comes.

Overall this was a great finale, and a brilliant season. It was shocking, and gave for some of the best character development in TV, and very intense. There isn't much else to say, I think this is the best ongoing TV show currently.

Give me season 6 already
shaunmcevoy-9883321 January 2021
This has slowly formed into one of my favourite shows alongside BB, it's just so great. LaLo Salamanca is such an awesome character, easily my favourite Salamanca. He has the stone cold kill you and not think twice about it just like the twins, and at times has Tucos psychotic rage. But he's a lot more reserved and highly intelligent. Extremely dangerous individual.

Maybe the slightest bit underwhelming, but seems to be set up for an absolutely insane S6...
kcmcc-0054221 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Wow! A lot of characters had some permanent and potentially punishing changes to their stories tonight, and while it was a little lacking in terms of gigantic moments that we've seen over the past couple finales, this has no doubt set up an extremely interesting story to be told in Season 6.

Great as a setup but slightly underwhelming as a finale
HuzeFostage21 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Season 6 was set up well but with a lack of finality and conclusion to Season 5.

This episode was a bit weaker than the last 2 which were both pretty much perfect. However, it's understandable that there was some "breathing room" needed after Bagman and Bad Choice Road.

The hitmen were conveniently incompetent just so that Lalo could make it out alive. He is still a badass though, now more than ever.

Also, the cliffhanger leaves a bad taste in your mouth considering how long it will take for Season 6 to release.

Can Season 6 come out yet?
TheFirst0121 April 2020
What I love about this show is that it uses the Breaking Bad formula, but uses it in a totally different way, and that's what makes it stand on its own. If you expected a more action packed finale you have to remember this is Better Call Saul and not Breaking Bad, and even Breaking Bad nor Better Call Saul don't have that much action merely in the context of finales. Then again expect very action packed episodes come next season. Better Call Saul lives for the slower character driven moments. If i would have asked for one thing is that they resolve Nacho's storyline in this finale and not let it end on a cliffhanger. Then again, I didn't expect Nacho nor Kim to die this season. They are two of the most important characters in this show, and you thought they were gonna get killed off before the sixth and final season? Hahaha. The show would particularly lose interest if they weren't in the last season. The episode is not shocking, although the episode merely acts as a setup for Season 6. The episode is exquisitely shot as we all know from this show. It contains one of the most exciting scenes of the whole show. I loved the setup for Howard's arc for season 6, as well as we can expect Jim and Kim's final run working together. Tension fumes in the Don Eladio business. Trouble is coming for Nacho and Kim in Season 6 so be prepared.

Underwhelming
jeanrausis21 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Could have been better, the end is not well put. Sure, the tensions is huge, but there is absolutely no way those killers would have been that terrible, shooting everywhere like rookies, missing every shot, being all that dumb, they could have just waited in a bush and take him down in a single shot, that's ridiculous.

So, just for that, it deserves 7/10, because the rest of the episode was great.

Disappointed
smmeisa21 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What is so good about BB is when weird and unexpected events took place, like Walter killing Gus or Hank killing the Salmanca twins and almost any remaining actions and regardless of how strange and unexpected they could be, they were real and not exaggerated and that's what I got used from the creators of the show from the very first moment of BB and till this episode of BCS and that is what made it so great to me, but what happened in the last scenes especially with Lalo was too much exaggeration to me. It's very unlikely to skip being killed from trained men like that. It's like 0.000001% chance of getting away and that did not sit well or right to me. Very disappointed to be honest.

Excellent finale of a great season
85122212 July 2020
Greetings from Lithuania.

With "Something Unforgivable" this show has completed its great season 5. From a point of action and thrills, this season was the best of this show so far. The tension was there and especially in a second part of this season it simply blew with greatness. I really looking forward toward the 6th and final season, Its gonna be a blast.

Overall, this series now i think stands proudly as not only a prequel series, but it showed that is a great series on its own. There is a terrific craftsmanship all over this place.
