Nice character work and plot developments

Liked Supergirl's protective suit. Yeah, it was a plot device to cover for Melissa Benoist's schedule conflicts, but it is pretty cool looking.

Thought this episode had some nice character interactions. I like Manchester Black and his tragic origin story. Yeah, he doesn't have powers like in the comics, but you never know. They may come later.

The Graves are dead, and I couldn't be happier. They were just poorly written. Nice to see the return of a couple alien villains. The show doesn't reuse characters as much as it can.

I'm interested in seeing how James deals with his exploits being used as pro-human propaganda.

Why?

Its an okay episode. But I don't understand why a military leader would be assigned over the director of a government agency. The director would report to the secretary of probably dhs. So.... Why the intermediary? I suppose they said it in the episode. But whatever reason, it's still dumb. And doesn't make sense. And really takes me out of the episode.

Someone was missing in a big way..

All throughout this episode and the previous two before this one, I have one big question.. When Mercy graves, her brother and Agent Liberty gasses the world with with kryptonite. we see them hurry to rescue Supergirl and get her into this armor.. My question though is what about Superman?? He never even got a small mention on how those in Metropolis were dealing with this issue.. Seems like some poor writing of this episode and the 2 previous to not even mention him at all.. Any other time name-drops are a big part of the Arrowverse series, but I guess we're just left to ponder what happened..

Show title misnamed

Warning: Spoilers
Will have to start calling it the Alex Danvers show I guess considering the screen time Supergirl got. Where in hell does she get off yelling at SUPERGIRL for anything? Such fake created drama, along with fake science of trying to remove kryptonite from atmosphere (oh, just think really hard brainy and you and Lena will figure it out, BS) Hmmm, Manchester, is he from England, wouldn't have guessed, sad his girl had to die....this show so inconsistent, playing with these aliens being controlled instead of just shooting them, tripping them with some idiotic motorcycle ? WTH? Crap CG on ye ol merry go round and again Kara getting her butt kicked before, oh magically now we know with no indicators that air is 100% kryptonite free. Less Alex, less Brainy, less fake dilemma with Jimmy (take some damn pictures why don't you instead of standing around like you have a clue ) and MORE SUPERGIRL BEING SUPER... is that too much to ask for?

Flat out boring.

Supergirl Episode 4.04 (2 out of 5 stars).

This episode is a bit weak. Repetitive boring action. Dull storyline. Cheesy script and direction. The villain gases up the city to rid of the aliens. There is some plot holes. Hopefully, the next episode answers.

talking about traitors...
Yet again. Another episode. Melissa filmed a bit to fill in the gaps and went off for some stint on a stage.

Bah!

If you have the lead in a TV show, you are supposed to be THERE, NOT at the theatre acting on stage... while thousands of viewers are left stranded without their heroine.

SUPERGIRL without Melissa Benoist really really sucks! It sucks even when she's there, but she makes the sucking bearable.

As I understand, normal from next episode, but as for a show LOW in my ratings ALREADY, serious serious damage. Unforgivable.

Show needed to end back then already. Lead girl has other fish to fry / leaves us high and dry / aw, skip this
