The most emotional and incredible end to an amazing series. We said goodbye to the Villanueva today but they will live on in our hearts forever!

What a great show this is! There is something to love about almost all of the characters, including the narrator! I am so sad it's over, but loved the finale. I'm going to miss my weekly fix.

A perfect way to end such an amazing show

The final season was extremely well done, especially the finale. All of the MANY plot lines got tied up well which makes the ending much more satisfying. I will miss this show and these characters but I feel happy with the way the show ended. I hope another show like Jane the Virgin comes around, this is one of my all time faves.

The perfect conclusion

While I found the episode itself rushed and weaker than the season finales we've had, I think it was the perfect conclusion to Jane the Virgin. Being a real two parter would've benefited it greatly, but everything that was supposed to happen happened: loose ends were tied, we got the HEA a lot of us dreamed of, and a satisfying (if not a little too on the nose) reveal that added a new dimension to the series. After this five year journey, I couldn't have asked for a better ending for these characters.

I got hooked on this show halfway through the fourth season. I binged it on netflix and then watched the last season on the CW. The series finale was emotional, beautiful and stuck to the feel of the show. What a beautiful way to go. Loved this episode!

I didn't want this series to end, but I loved how it was sweet, sentimental, and essential came back full circle. This has been one of my favorite shows for years and I bawled because the characters have become part of my family. Best way to end this series

I decided to watch the final season on Netflix even tho I fell off after s3 and I saw some of s4 then decided to finish it randomly last year for closure lol but this series finale ep was the most perfect conclusion to a show I've seen in awhile. I loved the narrator twist at the end (mini spoiler lol if you know you know) I loved the way they wrapped up everyone's love stories. The whole season felt like a giant romcom but the last ep especially and I loved every minute of it.

Great ending. Not what I had hoped for.... was hoping it would be more like Six Feet Under in the way they ended that show. But happy that everyone got their happy ending.

I started getting into this show last year it is one of the most funniest show I've ever seen. Anyways I loved the finale I thought it was a good ending and brought a lot of nostalgia. I loved the fact that everyone got their happy endings and the twist in the end was mind blowing

Discovered this on Netflix recently & finished my binge today. A beautiful finish to an incredible show. The story telling, acting, the heart, the laughs, the memories.. it'll all be missed. I really loved the chaos of the final episode & the beautiful wedding that Rafael & Jane finally got. The finale had everything viewers loved about the show & it made me cry at the end. Only thing I didn't understand was why tease the wedding dance to then never show it? This wonderful show will live on forever.

Mediocre ending

Jane the Virgin was an excellent show overall, but the final season was a disappointment. The first season was engaging because of the fun and unique premise. The second one built on its success. The third was daring, unexpected, and beautifully written, with interesting personal and societal themes to carry it forward. The fourth was passable, but it didn't do much more than kick the ball forward. However, the fifth falls flat on its face with its meandering writing, poorly thought out return for Michael and lack of a real pay off. Happy endings are great, but here the impact was minimal as it felt too formulaic and didn't seem to have much of a message.

I watched the series again and I was really hoping that there were some signs of the lasting love between Jane and Raphael. My conclusion was that Raphael was the best friend that Jane could find but she doesn't love him. In less than a year I would expect a divorce from a couple like that. It just take a new love for Jane....

The last of the fan servicing show (hopefully)

I won't spoil it, but it's easy to guess how it ends. Just like most viewers feared it would. In fan girl pleasing fashion, just like all girly CW shows did these past 10 years. Writers simply took away the point of the series buildup, in one last big « let's just please these viewers » statement. Which makes the show pointless and disposable, now. Even the good parts. It won't be missed.
