I had seen Kanan's solo stand-up on Amazon Prime and it was hilarious! Probably right up there with Biswa's act too. This one, on the other hand was a complete waste - and I don't understand why everyone is hell bent on picking that girl with accent - she's NOT at all funny!

Improv comedy is probably the most difficult thing to do consistently, a bad day is always around the corner.

Firstly, I'm an avid follower of Stand-up. I'm really hopeful for the future of comedy scene in India. Right now, the scene is flooded with quantity rather than quality & variety. Few have the voice and the rest are noise, and hopefully the voices will come through.

THIS SHOW: Imrov comedy is probably the most difficult form of comedy and to get it right consistently is next to impossible. I've never been to a Improv comedy show, but I've seen my share of "Whose line is it..." and as much as I love these guys (especially Kanan, his special was good) they sucked horribly at the Improv, perhaps it wasn't their day.

I was really looking forward to see this show when it dropped on prime videos, specifically to see Kaneez perform what she has been claiming is her forte on various podcast/appearances. Sadly, her's was a lackluster/trying-too-hard performance.

The show wasn't a lot for you facial muscles, you'd chuckle a couple of times at most.

I'm still hopeful, disappointed but hopeful.

Standup vs Improv

I couldn't bear to watch even 10 minutes of this show. None were prepared or talented enough to pull this off. But there are learnings in everything. This show made it utterly evident that Kannan, Kenny, Kaneez and Abish are not funny or witty people in real life. But their practiced standup shows do so well! It gives hope to people with poor/average skills - practice (and probably a LOT OF editing) can get you places.

Long way to go

As a big fan of Kanan and Abish, I watched it with a lot of interest. But it was a big disappointment. Kenny is a great stand up comedian, but improv might not be his thing. Kaneez, well she is just boring. Although she claims to be a trained improv artist, but as expected, she failed to even make you chuckle.

And I think improv should at least have a sense of direction as to where the scene is going, and then you improvise. Not like "you sit and we'll do whatever we want because we called it improv".

Maybe with a better layout of the scenes, kanan and abish could put on a good improv show. I would love to watch them give it another go. But no Kaneez please.

That's what they think. just do whatever because we speak English and we are from upar class so whatever we do you just applause and laugh. First of all they just can't act not even pretand to do Act. Horrible show.

I know, many reviews here are saying otherwise, but for me, Kenny, Kanan, Kaneez and Abhish pulled the show superbly well. Their timming, their word play, their chemistry, all were speaking volumes about their understanding of comedy and their respect for the art. Everyone was enjoying the show, even these 4 artists themselves were enjoying so much that they had to control their laughs! These people are damn intelligent! I can understand why people are spewing hate, maybe they're too old to try out new stuff and are too busy laughing "only" on standups. There is more to comedy than standup.

For me this is 8+1. 1 extra star for showing the aging 90's kids that they can have more. But it seems poor old people couldn't appreciate the art.

I started watching this with high expectations as I like Kenny and Kanan. Utterly disappointed.
