The story is coming to a head

This show has strong character arcs and has raised lots of questions. I love that this show manages to often do the unexpected, but never fails to satisfy. This episode is no different. I didn't predict what was coming (I never do) and what did come was entertaining as always, and as I said, satisfying. In this episode, some questions are answered, while a few new ones are raised. It tells us some origins. It was funny. It was touching. Totally worth watching. For me the key to this show is that I care about the characters (Except KVN, I don't like KVN. ha).

Best show I've seen in a long long time

This is probably the first review for this episode.... I have the season pass on Vudu and I saw episode eight as soon as it was available to me.... But anywho, this episode was as touching as episode 7..... The story of Gary, a selfless, companionate, funny guy who was lonely and jailed aboard the galaxy one now has a place in my heart..... This story has gotten me from episode one..... The story has never let me down from what I have now expected in this series...... I've cried, laughed, and enjoyed every single episode, but this episode has me never wanting this series to end.... I'm looking forward to the episodes to come.... But this episode is something very very special....

Emotional Roller Coaster

Warning: Spoilers
Chapter Eight. So far with the episodes, I feel that this one is probably my favorite. In Chapter 7, we learn that Final Space is the realm wherein eldritch beasts known as the Titans reside in. Here, we learn about one Titan - named Bolo - who rebelled against his fellow Titans despite his purpose being to sow discord and chaos onto the galaxy. He was imprisoned for his trouble after he had successfully closed the portal to Final Space. So Galaxy One must locate Bolo in order to find a way to close the breach.

This episode was really emotional, all things considered. We had seen into Gary's mind the memory of when he saw his father die when he was trying to get to the bottom of a gravitational disturbance. Here, we are treated to a rendition of Gary trying to spend as much time with his father before he inevitably meets his demise. We also learn something shocking in regards to the evil Lord Commander, which is genuinely shocking. It was something that I did not expect. I also liked the design of the world with Bolo's dimension as well. The show really does a great job at making something seem exotic and surreal.

I have loved Final Space from the beginning, but this episode tops it all. It has hilarious humour, amazing creativity (in the Titan's mind) and brilliant time traveling!!! The writing is just great and the characters hit all the right notes, it really is a joy to watch someone having fun with an animated sci-if series. Kudos to Olan Rogers! There are a lot of answers to the wider story in the episode with lots of emotions and a bit of pathos packed in towards the end as well. What a great show!

Mustache Gary

This was probably my favorite (comedic) scene of the whole season. "Mmmm, feels so gooood. Ha ha ha ha hoooooo!"

And the scene when they fly into the sun to Bolo's dimensions was insane, big adventure time feel in that scene. Made me think of the Lych. Visually stunning, amazing story progression and scenes of hilarity as per.

Amazingly well done, the best episode of the first season by far. So much happens in 21 minutes being the Lord Commander's origin story the best part.

The humor is spon on in my opinion and when KVN sings we have an instant winner.

It was very nice plot. That was so cute that Gary had chance to meet his father again.
