Frustrating to watch

Warning: Spoilers
I am loving this show in general and one of the primary reasons is the relationship between the three leads. The show really emphasizes their support for each other and their openness to personal growth. But this particular episode made me so frustrated with Jane that I stopped watching for awhile. Jane's absolute refusal to consider any of the perfectly rational arguments that Sutton and Pinstripe had and the way she would not back down from her demand to remove Sutton's gun from the apartment felt like banging my head against the wall. I wont even get into the obvious political agenda points or my own feelings on the matter. Especially on the heels of her "crisis" several episodes prior about Ben having the gall to believe in god. She is quickly becoming a flat liberal millennial characature in the most annoying way. Very poor storyline and poor handling of a serious issue as the resolution seems to imply that there is no possible good reason for gun ownership nor can anyone be trusted to be a responsible owner.

Promotion of bullying

The episode focused on Jane's unhappiness with a part of Sutton's past and present. Unfortunately Jane continues to throw a tantrum and bully poor Sutton into giving up something really precious and sentimental to her.

As this programme is partly intended to be inspirational to young women I found the way that the conversations were handled very aggressive without considering the best friend's viewpoint.

It also made Jane's character very unlikable as she is now seen as a bossy tantrum queen.

Bad focus

I don't have a gun and I felt bad about Sutton making his gun a pair of earrings. If she's a responsible owner, has a password to open the case and doesn't have bullets with it, why did she have to give up her gun?

I'm not even american and I surely am against use of guns but like - every Sutton's point made me question so much about it so the end was quite of a let down...

Anti-second amendment

Warning: Spoilers
This whole episode is about how "bad" guns are. Jane finds out Sutton has a shotgun and throws a fit until Sutton gets rid of it even though it was a big part of her past. Their comments about guns are inaccurate and typical liberal agenda. Since Sutton's views on guns doesn't align with the anti-gun agenda, she is shamed the whole episode despite showing her passion for skeet shooting. Jane never gave a compelling argument against guns while Sutton gave several, yet in the end Sutton is the one who had to change to follow the agenda for the liberal show.

Poor story, liberal agenda at it most.

This whole episode is about how "bad" guns are. Jane finds out Sutton has a shotgun and throws a fit until Sutton gets rid of it even though it was a big part of her past. Their comments about guns are inaccurate and typical liberal agenda. Obvious in the end of episode, Sutton reveals that the gun has been destroyed. I'm not even gun supporting, and this was the worst title I've ever seen.
