Press limps on to its concluding episode. I doubt there will be a second series.
Ed Washburn is up to his dirty tricks but all the women want to sleep with him despite his lack of ethics. This time with Leona as he goes through her wallet while she pops to the toilets. By the end of the episode Ed decides he is not cut out to be a tabloid journalist.
Duncan's heart is not in being editor of a tabloid neither. However with a looming custody battle he needs all the help his boss offers and that is substantial. By making a deal with the devil, Duncan goes after Holly when she reveals Resonance. A secret surveillance network.
The Herald enters the brave new world of being an online only paper. The Resonance revelations might give it a boost for now but other media outlets are after them for putting the security of the nation at risk.
This really was a poor series, stories based on recent media headlines but poor characterisation and really inert.
