On the way to the airport, Seb meets an older French woman, Suzanna. She explains her visit was to see her son and grandchildren and how it is hard for her to only see them once a year.
Sebastien visits the more touristy parts of the city. A Japanese girl, Ayaka, ends up at the same sights, and they start talking, building their own pidgin language.
Sebastien is accosted in a café by Maurice, a Seperatist Quebecois. He explains why he detests Toronto and how love made him return to the city he hates.
As he is running into the ravines, Sebastien meets Ahmed that fell with his bike. After a tense encounter with a policeman, he will found out that why Ahmed refuses to go to the hospital.
