Joseph Henabery directs this short film touting the Warner Brothers production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.
Addison Richards narrates the short, starting with an excited voice-over of the Hollywood premiere, followed by praise of the director, actors, composer, and the guys who chose the trees for the forest scenes.
Warner Brothers obviously thought they had a winner on their hands, based on the Max Reinhardt production. I imagine the movie was successful, even though I think that this movie version of my favorite Shakespearean play is top-heavy with stars who respect the material but seem ill at ease with the language.
