Not as fast paced a some European fare out now, but, another member here did draw a comparison to 'The Night Manager' -both of these shows follow similar pacing. The cast is very good - some faces may be recognizable - James Norton - a lead character has a god history for a 30 something year old - a lot of British fare - David Strathairn playing an Israeli mobster - funny since his ancestry includes English, Scottish, Irish, Portuguese, Native Hawaiian, and one sixteenth Chinese!
As mentioned elsewhere this show travels! - shooting in several countries and it VERY much adds to the 'feel'. Not a huge amount of action - nor - sex - lol - here is hoping!
Episode one is the only one I have seen yet - will have this show on my watch-list.

Taking its cue from The Night Manager, this international finance gangster thriller spans several continents.

Raised in Britain, educated in America and he runs an emerging market funds in the city of London. Alex is also the son of Russian mafia family driven out of Moscow by a rival, Vadim Kalyagin.
Alex beloved uncle Boris wants Alex to come into the family crime business. Boris has an Israeli friend, Semiyon Kleiman who is keen to use Alex's funds to launder millions of dollars. Worse still uncle Boris has also riled Vadim who has sent his brutes to kill Boris with Alex barely escaping with his life.
The opening episode had effective set pieces, was well paced and was shot in Qatar, Russia, Israel, France as well as Britain. Money has been certainly spent on it.
