The most cinematic of the Coldplay videos, "Talk" has as director the talented photographer Anton Corbijn who has an extensive list of music videos
made and later on becoming a feature film director ("Control", "A Most Wanted Man").
Here, he pays homage to classic sci-fi films and silent films as well while covering the adorable story of a group of astronauts (the band members) who land on a planet to help a stuck robot trapped there. It isn't about showing a scenario filled of amazing visuals neither to make a highly big-budget video, the experience works with its simplicity aligned with the great track played which establishes a great parallel with the images presented as both deal with the ability of expression and communication between different polars.
Corbijn delivers a fun, memorable and absorbing spectacle filled with humor - Chris and company are great actors as well. 10/10.
