I like to give fanvids the benefit of the doubt. They're not working with big budgets and quite often the writer / director and possibly main actor and directors bear strikingly identical names. No one expects these to be super films. That recognized, there are still certain directing and script expectations if such is going to be released beyond YouTube. Pros and cons:
* Interesting core concept but done before: conflict between super lives and real life. Spider-man did it better.
* Rather slow-paced, repetitive dialog
* Decent special effects... when they were used.
* Interesting and well-played bad guy.
* Not the most impressive Kid Flash costume. Could have done lots better.
* Stilted acting between Kid Flash and Artemis, as if reading from a script. Other actors are decent.
Still, we've seen far worse fanvids. This one was watchable.
Suggestion for follow-ups: give the two main characters some acting tips in regard to expressing emotions when saying their lines, upgrade that costume to something a bit more believable... and when it comes to the dialog sometimes less is more.
