Fine episode. Iris is terrible
aclarehansen3 May 2021
The overall episode is decent, but the dislikeable character of Iris West truely ruins the episode for me.

Thy hero welcome thee...A predictable welcome!

Is this a Shakespeare rom-com episode? Nothing special about this episode except the ending, which is normal if compared to previous seasons! Iris's acting was good but over-directional. I mean at least Cisco could have handled Team Flash. Kid-flash could have been used properly

Let's hope the villain is as bad as Zoom/Savitar!

Continuing It's Downward Spiral, The Flash Continues to Disappoint
aidan-callari10 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The Flash was a great show. WAS. Seasons One and Two were fun, upbeat seasons of television that I enjoyed, a lot. Season Three was okay, but it started to fall into the traps that most shows do when they've been on the air too long. The villain plot, and the plot progression felt all too familiar. I still enjoyed the season, though. I thought Savitar was an alright villain, even if his reveal came WAY too late. It was when the credits rolled on Episode 22, Infantino Street, that I was truly excited to see how the show would handle Iris's death. I was really happy they made such a gutsy choice.

Then, I watched the finale, and I was bitterly disappointed. Not only was the idea to have Iris not actually die after SPECIFICALLY alluding to that at the end of the last episode completely dumb, but also having H.R. die instead felt like the writers had a couple of hours to throw together an episode, and this was the messy, clumsy effort they put forth. It didn't help that the way they did the switch was so bizarre, as the tech was introduced much farther back in the season. The fight was well done, but Iris killing Savitar felt out-of-left-field and dumb. The finale left me feeling something I hadn't really ever felt watching The Flash: upset and disappointed.

Flash forward five months to now, when the season premiere for Season Four aired. I had an open mind. Sure, Season Three was disappointing, but I won't give up hope. This could be a redemption for the show. (SPOILER ALERT: IT WASN'T) I was intrigued when the opening scene showcased a new Team Flash in action, taking down Peek-a- Boo. This scene was an interesting intro to the season. It all went downhill from there. This started with the extremely forced dialogue from Team Flash in STAR Labs. My main problem here was that there was ZERO subtlety. I'm not saying that it should be so subtle that you have no idea what's going on, but every show should utilize this technique, at least a bit. When the episode progressed, and there was dumb character motivation, like Iris going blindly into the wings of the villain, even there was NO indication WHATSOEVER that Barry was even remotely sane enough to recognize her, let alone SAVE her! And then, the logic for Barry being able to make it out of the Speed Force made NO sense, and only felt like the writers were rushing through it to make us forget the flawed logic, and to move on. Then, Barry's recovery was SO rushed. I couldn't even tell you how on Earth he got back to normal. When the credits rolled, and the new villain was introduced, I was so uninterested that I had no emotional reaction whatsoever.

I might stay tuned for one or two more episodes, but this may very well be when I stop watching The Flash. What was once a great, fun superhero show is a faded shadow of its former self. If this show really is following Arrow's quality per season, that means next year could very well be the redemption. Who knows?

This house is bitchin!
ackoons2 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Wally speaking Japanese, crazy Barry, super-duper ultra speed, a new baddy, and... and... this house is BITCHIN! Lol I enjoyed this episode a lot. Does it have some weak points? Sure... Iris should be a journalist, not Team Flash Tech Support, it'd be nice if she was a bit more on board with the plan to bring the love of her life back, and how, exactly, did iris being in danger bring Barry out of his insanity? But overall, it was stil a good season opener.

Reborn?
ThomasDrufke10 October 2017
It sure didn't seem like it's been 6 months since the last time we saw an episode of The Flash, but that's the timeline the show is going with. And to that point, it was hard to come around to accepting an immediate return of Barry to Central City. Not that we shouldn't already be accustomed to a quick turnaround, considering Flashpoint only last 1 episode last season, but at least that had residual effects for the entire season. For some reason, the return of Barry or "rebirth" felt pretty cheap and unearned. Especially when you take into account the direction they went with him when he eventually did return.

Just as silly as having Barry deal with memory loss last season, was the decision to have Barry return, full beard, and spew out gibberish and draw out 'Arrival' like diagrams all over dry erase boards. Yeah, not exactly the return I expected. Granted, this could very well turn into something related to a further sub-plot involving the speed- force, or even a grander plan from The Thinker, but more on that later.

Tonight was a hodgepodge of various catch up sub-plots. Caitlin was miraculously back on Team Flash (not Team Kid Flash) after all that season 3 drama, Julian has inexplicably moved to London (maybe that's for the better), Iris made it clear she didn't want Barry back (because the writers want forced drama in their relationship), and we also saw the debut of season 4's supposed "big bad", The Thinker. With that said, tonight wasn't the most balanced episode, having to constantly jump from character to character without having a nice thru-line. But that's just the nature of having so many characters to service 4 seasons in.

I found myself intrigued in Caitlin's arc, up until it was revealed she's involved in with some sort of gang/mob with the guy from the bar. If we're going to get a season of Caitlin struggling with keeping Killer Frost inside, then I hope that conflict stays within her, not involve some outside force prying these emotions out of her. Iris on the other hand, had a much tougher week. I can't help but think she's gone back (at least for tonight's episode) to the stupidity of season 1 Iris. I came around to Barry and Iris' relationship after a while, but I didn't care to see Iris shut down Cisco's attempt to bring Barry back. We don't need her character to go back to those inexplicably awful decisions from season 1. But hey, she stepped up by offering herself up as a bait at the end of the episode, right…?

The one thing that you can't deny about tonight's episode is the show's renewed attempt at being a fun superhero show. They got away from it a little bit the last few seasons, but I think the energy seems to be back. It's just a matter of how well they use that light and quirky (but sometimes still poignant) tone to their advantage. I can tell you that having Wally randomly speak Japanese was not a good decision. This season could go many different ways. 1 episode isn't nearly enough time to determine that, but I have my worries because season 4 of Arrow was the time when it tried to do something different with its villain and bring magic into a grounded crime drama. The Thinker is an intriguing villain because he's different, but that doesn't mean it will be the right choice for the show. I'm certainly willing to keep an open-mind, but tonight wasn't exactly the right step for the show.

Back in a Flash
cobi-8062011 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
So season 3 was the Flash's weakest season, in my opinion. Season 4 was Arrow's weakest season and then came season 5 which was great. Now we're at season 4 of Flash, premiere episode. Was it amazing? No, not really. Was it good? Yes, yes it was.

I never expect Barry to be absent of a single episode of this show as long as Grant Gustin is still the lead actor of the show. Whoever expected an episode without Barry should recall the memory of when Oliver literally fell off a mountain side with a stab wound and no shirt on and he still came back the very next episode. Basically, the Arrowverse shows always restore their lead characters to a state of normalcy every time they are hurt or anything happens to them.

Onto the episode! It immediately opens up with a chase scene and we see Vibe, Kid Flash and good ol' Detective West take down Peek-a-Boo. I've always wanted to see villains return like Captain Cold did during season 1 so I got my thumbs crossed for Trickster (Earth-1) and Weather Wizard returning sometime during the season. The team has, as you could've guessed, tried to protect the city during Barry's absence. Iris has taken on the role of leader of Team Flash which, if I'm being honest, should logically go to either Cisco or Joe since they have been core members since the very first episode. Joe looked badass wearing those sunglasses and holding a shotgun in his hands.

We are introduced to three new enemies. The Samuroid who's from the comics is on a mission to take on the Flash. He does so by kidnapping Iris and Barry runs after him resulting in a pretty cool action scene by a couple of huge windmills. I know windmills are big but here they seemed a bit exaggerated in size. Well it is a fictional world with alternate realities so let's forget about that. This is the first action scene I've seen involving windmills so that made it at least somewhat unique. Can't say the Samuroid was a memorable villain nor did he do anything significant but that was never the intention. The plan was to just draw out the Flash and we then got the first look at the Thinker. I'm not sure I fully like his appearance but it's not terrible either. Guess it was going to be hard to top past main villains' outfits such as Zoom whose suit is still my favourite. If not in appearance, The Thinker could make a better impression in other areas as we move forward in the season.

Caitlin has put a leash on her Killer Frost powers but it seems like she's involved with a group of criminals or was part of a group of criminals during the past months that we skipped. I don't want the same story for Caitlin as last season but I do want to see some Killer Frost action now and then, maybe an ice-slide scene like last season.

While Barry was mumbling about random stuff it seemed like his mind was in all kinds of places at the same time. He quoted lines from the pilot episode in season 1 and then I believe he hinted at him and Iris having a baby as well as something disastrous happening in the future to which he looked at Joe. The symbols and talk about stars will probably explain why he got out of the speed force and will eventually tie-in with the Thinker's storyline. My guess is that the Thinker has some of the same information that Barry does and together they could solve the puzzle.

All in all it was an alright introduction to Flash's fourth season and as I've read they want to try and get the fun feeling back which is great. 'Til next week!

'We're back baby!'
mattdonaldson18 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
What a way to start an expected amazing season? From Wally and Cisco fighting Peek-a-Boo all the way too the first appearance of The Thinker, I was blown away. Was it the best ever episode of The Flash? No. But I was impressed. In the episode you had drama, comedy, action - everything I want in an episode of The Flash. I love the new suit and when I saw the promo for episode 2 'Mixed Signals' I was the happiest I have ever been.

However, there are some low points about the episode. The CGI wasn't that great and I kind of wish either Julian Albert and Tracy Brand were there. But the main thing for me was that it was too rushed. For trying to put a story line that includes Team Flash without Barry, Team Flash getting Barry back, Barry being lost and Barry fighting the villain, I think they could have put that into two episodes.

Even though there were some low points, I still loved the episode and I would recommend people to watch it.

It was a short vacation in the Speed Force.
fredschaefer-406-62320410 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The Flash is reborn in the season 4 premier; that is the basic plot, which neatly takes care of the big twist at the end of the previous season finale, where Barry Allen took the hand of his dead mother and they walk together into the Speed Force, a sacrifice done to save Central City from destruction. The opening of the fourth season picks up six months later, where Wally, Cisco, Joe, and Iris are doing their best to pick up the slack in Barry's absence; in effect, we have The Flash show, without The Flash.

I'll give them credit, they did not drag out the situation of the missing Barry for half a season until Barry is back; a new threat shows up, demands to face Barry or he'll rain destruction down on Central City (again). Lucky for everyone, Cisco has been working on a plan that will bring Barry back and keep the Speed Force happy at the same time, a solution that brings Caitlin Snow back into the fold, and sure enough, fifteen minutes into the episode, a stark naked Barry Allen races back home. But of course it is not that easy, it seems that six months in our world equal an eternity in the Speed Force – a plot turn that reminds me of Stephen King's short story The Jaunt, and Barry's mind is mush. The balance of the show revolves around how the gang at Star Labs fixes yet another problem of their own making. In the end, true love solves everything.

Usually, the 4th season is when most series begin to show some real wear on the treads, but so far THE FLASH is still chugging along strong, and it is a good sign that they did not try to set up the whole season in the opening episode, but we did get a glimpse at a potential Big Bad. And I do not for a minute believe we have seen the last of Barry's mental impairment. It does seem that they have upped the ante when it comes to the special effects, that battle with the Samurai in the wind farm was quite impressive. That's a good sign. Does anyone miss Draco Malfoy? Didn't think so.

It also looks like the CW's Flash will have some competition this fall, with a movie version of the long time DC hero hitting the big screen the week before Thanksgiving in the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie. Who will be the better Barry, Grant Gustin or Ezra Miller? It does not matter, us Flash fans win both ways.

The Flash - S04E01 The Flash Reborn
j_forbesy11 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The Flash has been one of my favourite TV shows for some time now. While I really enjoyed last season, I did notice it had been a bit of a drop compared to it's first two season. With that however, I was really excited to see what they could give us in this season's premiere.

This season did pretty much everything I needed it to do for me. While I do have a few negatives, most of them are personal nit picks rather than outright bad things in this episode.

To start I am going to talk about what was always going to be the biggest complaint of this episode and that is Barry returning. While I would of loved for Barry to be gone for a while, I realistically knew the CW wasn't going to hide away their main character. With that I wanted them to bring Barry back in a way that felt like he had been gone for a while and wasn't a cope out. I think they did that this episode. While the Samuroid was the catalyst for them bring Barry out in the episode, I think from a story perspective they presented that in a way that it was more like the little nudge the team needed to go all out in bringing Barry back.

Working off Barry's return, I have seen a fair few people say that it doesn't feel as though 6 months has passed. For me however, I think they did a good job showing the time jump. STAR Labs got a bit of a renovation after beginning partly destroyed, Vibe and Kid Flash having a strong field relationship, Iris taking a leading role in the team (I'll touch more on that later) and progression in Joe and Cecile's relationship are all thing that in the real world take time to do and I think this episode used these things to show that time has progressed.

To touch on one of the negatives of this episode, Iris felt very out of place. The best way I feel as though I could describe her is that he has misguided motivation. She is against trying to get Barry out and of all the people she would be the one that you would think would be going for it. Instead she is trying to make the team the best she can which I think could be a really good character trait to have but in the context of the story, logically she should be all for getting Barry.

Similarly to Supergirl, this premiere did a great job of laying down the foundation of what this season will be built from. As mentioned they showed a lot of what has evolved since we were last with the team plus they have some good mentions as to what has happened with some of the other characters. Something I surprised with however is the early reveal of DeVoe. In previous season they have often let the team find their feet before involving the big bad but in this case, the villain of the week was actually DeVoe. That makes me think that this season will do the typical villain of the week episode to begin with however they will all be from DeVoe, similarly to Zoom did in the middle of season 2.

Overall, a really strong premiere for the season. The overall tone of the show seems like it will be a little different to previous season so that is a massive positive in my books. With the early introduction of DeVoe I'm interested to see what they will do with him in the coming weeks.

Central City is lost without the Flash
torj_alfa10 February 2019
First of, I never been in military (I was the "lucky" one), and I never fired a weapon bigger than an air rifle for kids in my youth. But Central City is frankly lost without the Flash. And why? Well even when it didn't was shoot one shot from the cops, when they stand ground, they was in a line for a possible crossfire. Even "better" if that was the SWAT team... And nope, I didn't take time to check it out, just saying. Otherwise, the Flash is cool enough, even when it have been some interesting failure, and some non physical events, that was not trying hard enough to explain these episodes (see for example the time ghost). I give only 6 star for this episode, but else it could have 8 star.

The Flash is Back!!
T-ZER011 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
What can I say? I loved this episode!! So it's been six months since Barry sacrificed himself to save Central City by entering the speed force. Ever since then the rest of the team has been fighting crime without him. But with the emergence of a new powerful villain, Cisco reasons that they need Barry to stop him.

Despite Iris being skeptical, Cisco, Joe, Wally, and Caitlin (Yeah, she's back!) Decide to bring The Flash home. Barry of course is not himself when he comes back and it takes a while for him to get his sanity back and don the new red costume! What I loved the most about this was the homage it paid to the Death and Return of Superman story. I've always said Flash is the Superman of the CW. With the new costume, logo, and design to the show, you too will believe that the Flash has returned.

Don't believe me? Watch it for yourself. You will not regret it.

Ranking/Reviewing every Flash episode: Flash Reborn
lbramson12 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In the Season 4 preimere, Barry gets out of the Speed Force with dimentia and must say Iris from the Samuroid. This is a solid preimere, but it's not great, I have a lot of problems with it that I can't get passed. First of all, this feels like more of a preimere to Season 5 than 4. What do I mean by that? Well the codes that Barry wrote on the wall play a major role in many revelations in Season 5's main story. If you take out the few minutes with the Thinker, it essentially is filler within its own season. However, I do think the concept of Barry having dimentia causes some interesting, kinda funny dinamics. Finally, the new suit is showcased in this episode and it is the most visually appealing suit so far! A good, yet problematic preimere episode for Season 4.

7.5/10-Good👍

Flash continuing to disappoint
samu_ld11 October 2017
The thing i most hated in this episode is the fact that Iris is now the leader of Team Flash, isn't she supposed to be a reporter? Didn't she love journalism? Does anybody just throw their dream job in the trash like that? In season 3 all she did was sit at S.T.A.R labs and cry all day now all of a sudden she's leading the team and reacting with a judgmental look on her face about anything that happens around, i know they used the 6 month time skip to explain the changes (they do that every season) but i still don't get it, Cisco is the one who should be in charge and not in the field as he know how all the tech works there. And as i feared she is becoming (or already did become) just like Felicity on Arrow: she was really a good character on seasons 1 and 2, then on the 3rd season she starts to get really annoying and on the 4th season she is this nightmare that questions everyones choices and decisions, being a whiny bitch about everything and gets more screen time than the protagonist, i really didn't like the direction they took with the character and i think it's gonna destroy the show.

Now about how everything gets resolved in the next episode: this is one of the main issues with the show, along with the pep talks in the hallway, it's like the characters don't go through anything at all and the next day, everything is fine. It started in season 3: Flashpoint happened, it's resolved the next episode, Wally is trapped in the speed force, the next episode, he's back and now in season 4: Caitlin leaves Team Flash for the 2nd time to inexplicably work as a bartender, and for the 2nd time she is back by the end of the episode, Barry is back but crazy and again inexplicably gets back to normal when Iris is in danger and no explanation to those signs he was writing (yet?), also i hated when Barry sped out crazy hyper fast in STAR labs and Caitlin simply shot him with a cold gun like he wasn't even moving. It was a bad episode for a premiere.

___________________________________________

+ New suit + Crazy Barry (shame it didn't last longer) + Super fast Barry + The Thinker at the end + Wally speaking Japanese ___________________________________________

  • Iris as leader of Team Flash - Iris being a bitch about everything - Caitlin's arc and coming back to the team AGAIN - Wally didn't really evolve in 6 months - All the problems from season 3 finale resolved in this episode - Unnecessary pep talks

Barry Allen, the fastest man alive (finally!)
hawkins_saints_rock12 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The Flash is back! So excited to finally be able to watch a new episode. So let's get into it. We start off with Kid Flash and Vibe chasing after former villain of the week Peekaboo. Seems like Cisco keeps getting better and better with his powers and it was fun to see him out in the field. Similar to how Kara was shut off from everyone on Supergirl this week, I didn't care at all for Iris' bossy nature and her unnecessary unwillingness to want Barry back from the Speed Force. She just seemed like a total buzzkill, but eventually she did get past that when we got Barry back. Now, onto Barry...how damn fast does he look!! I think this is the first time we can say with confidence that our Barry is the fastest man alive. It was so bada*s to see him run so fast. I don't get why some people are complaining that Barry is back already. It's been 6 months their time, and Gustin is the main character of the show so of course they're going to have him appear as Barry Allen/The Flash in every episode. It's honestly no surprise at all. From several moments in the episode, you can tell this season definitely has that S1 feel of being lighthearted and funny, which is a great move for the show. The villain of the week was nothing special, but we don't usually get anything big in season openers, so no damage done there. The whole thing of Iris being the reason Barry's mind became normal again doesn't annoy me as much as some other people. Mainly because regardless of how unnecessary it is that what Iris does/says determines Barry's behaviour, it's something that has always happened on the show and always will. So I accepted that a while back and it doesn't bother me anymore. Caitlin seems like her powers have changed or that she has some kind of control over them? And finally, we got our big bad reveal! So uncommon to get a big bad reveal in the first episode of the season but I loved that move. In the previous 3 seasons we've been kept guessing on the identity of the main villain right up until the mid to final part of the season. This season seems to be much different as we already know the name (DeVoe) and we can visibly see his face. Will be interesting to see how this difference from previous seasons pans out. Overall thought it was a good opening episode, bring on next week. 8.6/10

Season 4 is my favorite one.
cubicinfinity12 February 2021
This isn't a review on this episode, but the entire season. It's my favorite one, with season 2 coming in second. I know this season is weird and quirky, but that's why I loved it. And the BBEG might be dumb, but he's also really fun at the same time. The Flash is strange show. It's not the best thing to watch, but I keep watching it. It has its moments. It seems to be engaging enough to stick with so far. (I'm in the middle of season 6. So far, this is how I rank the seasons: 4, 2, 3, 1, 5 (best to worst) It wouldn't be fair to rank season 6 before I've finished it.

This is just... not good
Nivar_Creed11 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was mess. I really waited all this time to see that?

They forced bringing Barry back so quickly, it could last few episodes, but of course we need to "speed things up".

Some villains are just not good for TV Shows/Movies. Thinker is just one example of those.

Barry's mind is magically back, after Joe screams that, Iris is in danger... more cliché...

And i get it this is TV show, and they have less budget than movies, but if u really don't have enough money, cut those awful CGI scenes, Those are OK, but in here it's just to much. This scene on field... my eyes bleed.

And of course, Julian returned to London... Why tha f*** u give us character we are going to love, and then he just vanishes. Huge mistake.

5/10 i think is highest rating i can give.

Iris on her high horse, Cisco just wants his friend back, some crumbs of fun
imakk200111 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
+ Duck and all the callbacks to season 1!!! YES!!!!

+ Joe with Caitlin. Thank goodness he's still Papa Bear of the team.

+ Flash flashed Central City!!!!!

+ Cisco's confession: the best reminder of what the show can do when it does an emotional scene right.

+ Cisco and Caitlin: it's like S1 with them again. Will we ever get OTF again?

? Joe shaving Barry should have been an emotionally satisfying scene but it just felt weird. Probably because these 2 only had this type of bonding moment once all last season.

  • Iris channeling S3A Cisco. Also, they literally replaced the other female character just to shoehorn more screen time for Iris who still has no experience or expertise except in climbing on her high horse. Barry's wrong, the team (especially Cisco) stayed together despite Iris, not because of her. 4 seasons in, her motivations and actions remains sketchy. Or put another way, more Iris isn't making her more compelling or interesting, just the opposite.

  • Not enjoying Wally made to look bad. Just more proof that they brought him on too soon.

-------- Iris' plot armor will always render her damsel in distress routine a boring waste of time without an ounce of suspense. See Exhibit Ad Nauseum: Flash Reborn.

Not even Cisco and his super power of optimism can overcome the dreariness of Iris West. Score: 5

Vomit Worthy!!! UUgghhh!
brokefoot-1177415 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Horrible...I think this show just gave me mental food poisoning. I'm seriously, like...ILL. Maybe I'm just spoiled from watching other better shows that its been difficult for me to return to this crap.

But there were 2 things in particular that were driving me up the wall. 1) Overblown Romantic Angle: it seems like half the show now is like "Barry and Iris". And there is only sooo much of this I can take...SMH! Seems to me that this is their way of dealing with their crappy plots. Talk about the ultimate crutch. 2) No Repentance/Consequences: I'm like wow...did they not learn anything from Flashpoint??? Trick the Speedforce...consequences be DAMNED!!! We want Barry back. And they didn't even consider just swapping out Barry for Kid Flash.

the worst episode of the flash.i don't know, is this some kind of romantic drama!!!! this is a superhero TV series not some soap opera.i'm a die hard fan of dc comics.but the flash season 04 episode 01 is the worst episode of entire arrow-verse.the flash aka Barry Allan supposed to be funny but in this TV series they made the flash aka Barry Allan a romantic hero!!! i mean seriously!!!! the flash is now totally waste of time. in the comics i like Ires west but in the series i kind of hate her.same thing happened in the arrow, when Oliver and felicity in a relationship the show became boring and now the same thing happening in flash. please stop all that nonsense drama about Barry and Ires. i'm sorry if someone feel bad about my review, i'm just telling whats in my mind.

Worst episode yet???
theactualpavle23 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, this is the first time I'm writing a review on IMDb. I am doing so because I just felt I needed to say how disappointed I am. I've been keeping up with "The Flash", ever since it came out, and I have to say, out of all of them, this is by far the worst episode. It started off great. The CGI also seemed a little bit improved and I was quite hyped. But then... boy was I wrong. Let me get started: First thing's first: Cisco just happens to find Caitlin in the bar??? Also as soon as he asks her to join them she does, but she hasn't been able to come up with the idea herself for the past six months??? Second: Barry breaks out of containment that even Reverse Flash couldn't break out of, no explanation given??? Third: Barry just magically comes back to his senses when Iris is in danger, and they don't even attempt to explain how. I mean I've been with the creators so far, even looked through the mistakes last season, and especially the season finale, but this is a little bit too far. This maybe could have worked had the audience been around 5. I'm sorry, but the series is just going downhill form here.

Change in theme and central character of the show
gtmkumar76611 April 2018
Before starting of this season I was huge fan of Team Flash and I rate Season 3 the best of all seasons but in the current season it has gone out of focus making Iris the central character and everybody rolling around her so my sincere request to the Team Flash is that please just limit the character of Iris being the love interest in Barry's life and side her character ASAP to the journalism that she does best otherwise you all are going to loose some true fans of the franchise!

Not impressed by the first episode of The Flash.

Warning: Spoilers
He goes mad and just gets back is memory with not so solid reason. Everything happened so fast, in one episode everything gets back to normal.

The CGI was useless. It was so bad. Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 Episode 1's CGI was better then flashes.

They must improve there story line.

They must put in better concepts in things.

They must have a better CGI Team for further CGI effects or must not go for such effects in Ep - 1.

Oh Well
LittleStorpingInTheSwuff11 August 2018
Nothing has changed much, it's still a 'B' grade soap opera, with only about 3 minutes worth of actual villain time. Of course you do notice that the credits say the show is 'based on characters created by DC', meaning they are using the names but none of the greatness and excitement of the vintage comic books. This bunch of sorry writers couldn't even come close to the original writers of the comic books.
