Though around twice the size of the UK, Thailand has a larger population - of 69 million and rising, yet this episode mainly shows us various natural habitats, mostly of astounding natural beauty and biodiversity. Where people are shown, they claim to love nature and work to show it "mercy", in line with the Buddhist credo. At least 3 different examples of active efforts to achieve greater sustainability are on show, and it's all heartwarming.
Interestingly, forecasts anticipated that Thailand's population would decline after peaking around 2025. However, since that peak was supposed to be at 68M, we'll have to reserve some judgment on that.
For the moment, anyway, thanks to camera-operators and scriptwriters for offering us this nicely-described bounty that looks an absolute treat on a large flat-screen TV!
