Rose becomes the center of this first half. First of all, she is working in a mental health clinic. On her first day a schizophrenic woman is found dead. It turns out she was injected between her toes, so it's murder. Later, a child in a vegetative state dies. The other thing that is happening is Rose finding out that she is pregnant. Dicte feels that Rose's workplace is very dangerous. The second subplot is the continuing saga of Bo and his guilt over what happened in Syria. He and Dicte are on the ropes. He reveals a secret he has been carrying and she calls him a coward. And then we have a serious conflict between Wagner's ex- and the new head of homicide. He is sexist and crude and mean spirited. She had a drinking problem in the past and was reluctantly hired.
